Advanced Functionality
Superior Spray – What sets the Bio Bidet BB-2000 apart from the competition is its superior spray pressure. With an internal pump that is able to generate a powerful spray, the BB-2000 (when set to maximum) spray feels about 20% stronger than the average spray. The only model that has stronger spray pressure is its older predecessor, the BB-1000. Thanks to its internal pump, the Bio Bidet Blisss BB-2000 also has one of the best enema functions on the market. Narrow, focused, and strong the enema spray is great for users having constipation issues.
Durable for Larger Users – The BB-2000 bidet seat is BidetKing.com's #1 recommended bidet for heavier / larger / bariatric users. From our experience, users up to 420lbs have been able to to use it successfully. The seat itself is about the same size as other elongated bidet seats (11.5" x 8" inside opening), but it's very durable. The most important factor is the previously mentioned strong spray pressure which is necessary to effectively cleanse larger users. If the user is over 250lbs or just 'big boned', the Bio BIdet BB-2000 is the bidet seat to get.
Heating – Bio Bidet’s Bliss series bidet seats utilize a revolutionary new Hybrid Heating System that is meant to be both durable and reliable. Combining the best aspects of traditional tank type heating and the latest in on-demand water heating, the R&D team at Bio Bidet has created a hybrid system that provides warm water instantly and continuously. You get more consistent temperature and flow, and the seats are more energy efficient than their competitors.
Nozzles – The Bliss series continues Bio Bidet’s tradition of 3-in-1 nozzles that provide rear, front feminine, and vortex enema modes all through a single sturdy nozzle. Instead of coated, dipped, or sprayed, Bio Bidet uses pure, solid stainless steel for the nozzle casing. This results in a sparkling clean, wear resistant nozzle that should last years and years.
Self Cleaning – The self cleaning feature now rinses both the inside and outside of the nozzle for extra hygiene. Water is shot through the nozzle at high pressure to flush out debris and minerals left from the water supply. The Bliss series also employ a new CleanSurge rapid self cleaning function that provides a 20 second deep cleaning cycle for the nozzle.

As you might know, Bio Bidet is a pillar in the US bidet industry. One quick search on the web and you’ll find Bio Bidet just about everywhere. With more than 15 years of experience and expertise, Bio Bidet produces high tech bidet seats that deliver in performance as well as durability. Specifically, their flagship Bio Bidet BB-2000 Bliss has made a mark of its own, redefining the market with its high standard of performance. So what makes this brand and model so respectable and desirable?
FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS
The Bio Bidet 2000 is a luxury class model with all the typical high end features. Being Bio Bidet’s crown jewel, it comes fully loaded with the works: adjustable heated seat, adjustable 3-in-1 nozzle, adjustable spray pressure, pulsating spray, oscillating spray, auto wash, and enema function just to name a few. But what do all these specific function actually do? Allow us to break them all down for you.
Extra Strong Sprays
The powerful spray of the Bio Bidet BB-2000 Bliss is its most pronounced feature and is one of the strongest sprays available for an electronic bidet seat, regardless of price. When set to maximum pressure, the spray is about 30% stronger than other models. The pressure can always be turned softer, but many users appreciate the ability for a stronger wash. The Bio Bidet BB-2000 has 3 different wash functions: the feminine wash, the rear wash, and the enema wash. Each spray can be adjusted to 5 levels, from a powerful high pressure wash to intermediate and softer, soothing washes.
The spray for both the rear and front feminine wash are aerated which makes these washes nice and comfortable for normal cleansing. The enema function is a specialty feature that is meant to relieve constipation. The spray is very narrow, non-aerated, and extra strong. It is meant to introduce water into the rectal cavity; stimulating a bowel movement, or simply helping cleanse the colon. The enema function on the BB-2000 is one of the best.
Hybrid Water Heating System
The Bio Bidet BB-2000 can provide spray temperatures ranging from room temperature, all the way up to a toasty 104 degrees fahrenheit. Its powered by a ceramic based hybrid heating system that provide unlimited warm water from start to finish.
So, what is a hybrid heating system? It simply means that it combines the benefits of a traditional tank type heater with those of a tankless system. The BB-2000 has a small reservoir of heated water, similar to those found in tank heating bidet seats, but also continuously heats the water as it sprays--similar to tankless heating bidets. The end result is endless warm water from start to finish and the best of both worlds in terms of water heating technology. This form of heating is allows the BB-2000 Bliss to have a stronger spray than tankless models, but also more energy efficient than traditional tank type bidets. As stated, truly the best of both worlds.
Nozzle Construction
The Bio Bidet BB-2000 boasts what is referred to as a “3-in-1 nozzle.” This just means that the rear wash, feminine wash, and enema wash are all performed in one nozzle that has 3 different sections on it. The nozzle construction itself is composed of a stainless steel stem with a plastic removable nozzle tip. What we found great about the BB-2000’s nozzle tip is that it is fully replaceable if ever you feel discontent with the integrity of the nozzle, or it simply becomes damaged.
Adjustability and Convenience
Nozzles are fully adjustable in position, spray pressure, and water temperature for maximum convenience. The many possible positions of the nozzle helps for added precision and customization of each wash. The Bio Bidet BB-2000 nozzle can be set to 5 different positions - giving it a few inches of variable reach. It also has an oscillation function that continuously moves the nozzle forward and backwards - simulating a wiping sensation (helps greatly with an overall cleanse and we encourage all customers to use it for rear cleansing). The BB-2000’s spray can also be modified with a pulsating/massage mode. We found that the BB-2000’s pulse mode is an excellent way to relax during a cleanse, as well as a good way to stimulate the bowels before going in combination with the enema function.
Deodorizer
The deodorizer on the BB-2000 works well, but it is a feature that gets more value over time. Similar to a bathroom fan, the BB-2000’s deodorizer helps reduce odor in the air. It is important to note that the Bio Bidet BB-2000’s deodorizer is a carbon deodorizer that neutralizes odor and it is not a scented fragrance meant to mask the smell. No electric bidet, or any bidet for that matter has fragrance deodorizers. After being activated by the remote control, the deodorizer stays active and turns on automatically every time the user sits upon the seat. In order to turn this feature off and not hear the deodorizer run every time you sit down, simply press the deodorizer button on the remote once. To clarify, enabling the deodorizer on the remote control will mean that its automatic functionality will remain on indefinitely each time you sit down.
Auto Wash and Nozzle Self Cleaning
The ‘auto wash’ and ‘nozzle shower’ are some of the less notable features on the BB-2000. They are a little difficult to use because they share a button with the oscillation mode and the pulsation mode respectively. Nonetheless, these features are pretty useful. Note that these two functions can only activated when the seat is not currently spraying. By pressing the oscillation button while not being seated upon the bidet seat will trigger the nozzle shower. This feature cleanses the nozzle and removes any potential gunk that may be on the nozzle. The auto wash feature is found on the pulsing button and activates a full rear wash and then drying function in sequence. This is the perfect option for any user who wishes to push as little buttons as possible. To activate it, press the pulse/auto button while seated and no other functions are running. The bidet will then proceed to with a rear wash and then drying cycle.
Seat Heating and Durability
The Bio Bidet BB-2000’s heated seat is pretty toasty, capable of achieving temperatures from room temperature up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit. The seat itself is composed of a sturdy polypropylene plastic capable of withstanding up to 400lbs, as tested here at BidetKing.
While the overall length of the BB-2000 from front to back is 20.8 inches, the dimensions of the actual seat itself is 15.25”L x 14.5”W - similar to any toilet seat, bidet or not. The hole in the middle measures 11.5”L x 7.75”W. The seat itself is about 1.5” tall from the top of the bowl. Bidet seats are not meant to add much height to the actual seating area.
(For more information regarding seat size, take a look at our article “Bidet Toilet Seat Size 101” where we deep dive into seat size differences between a bidet seat and a regular toilet seat)
Wireless Remote
Controlling all these numerous features is the Bio Bidet BB-2000’s wireless remote. The remote can fit comfortably in the palm of your hand with fairly clear symbols denoting each function. Uniquely, the BB-2000 remote control comes in your choice of color of white, black, or beige colors. Remotes do not have to be synced and are ready for use right out of the box. The IR receiver on the seat itself is located in a black panel in the rear of the unit. The BB-2000’s remote seems intuitive for those familiar with tech, but we did see there being a potential issue in terms of it appearing complicated for those who aren’t too tech savvy. Some of the ‘double function’ buttons can be hard to decipher and its layout leaves a bit to be desired. The Bio Bidet BB-2000 does come with a convenient wall mount for storage of the remote on a nearby wall or cabinet. It requires (2) AAA batteries that need replacing about once a year.
Installation
The installation process for the Bio B2000 is fairly standard - not harder or easier than any other bidet seat once you have an electrical outlet in place. It is a matter of twenty minutes for anyone who is fairly handy. The installation of the BB-2000 does not require any real plumbing and all parts for standard installation are included with the unit. Note that the BB-2000 is available in elongated and round and requires a minimum of 1.75” clearance behind the toilet seat bolt holes. The Bio Bidet BB-2000 is not compatible with one-piece toilets with a french curve.
Electrical Specifications
The Bio Bidet BB-2000 runs on a standard 15 amp 110/120 volt outlet perfectly fine. A dedicated circuit is not required so long as there’s no other heavy appliances on the same circuit. At its highest settings, the BB-2000 will draw about 1400 watts during a wash. The seat will only draw this much power when all temperatures are set to maximum levels and while it is currently spraying - so maybe 5 minutes per day. It will only draw about 55 watts or less when idle. On average, an electronic bidet seat like the Bio Bidet BB-2000 will cost $30-$45 a year in electricity.
Cons
The Bio Bidet BB-2000 is an excellent bidet seat, but like everything in life, it does have its weaknesses. While the remote control may seem intuitive to a user who is tech savvy, it may be a little complicated for some other users since it only uses symbols (instead of words) on the buttons. The remote also has a few buttons that have double functions which can be tricky to understand.
Another drawback with the BB-2000 is that it’s a little bit bulkier and louder than other bidet seats in its class. Both issues are related, and in our opinion have a fair reasoning. The Bio Bidet BB-2000 gets its size and noise from the power that its spray can generate. The BB-2000 is hands down one of the strongest spraying units in the bidet market. Great cleansing is its main task and it does this very, very well. The BB-2000’s functional success comes from its powerful pump, which takes space and creates the louder cleansing noise. In our opinion, it’s a small price to pay for a powerful spray and thorough cleanse.
Why Should You Buy the Bio Bidet BB-2000?
What really separates the BB-2000 from the competition is of course, spray pressure. You want to talk about power? This seat has got it.. As discussed previously, the Bio Bidet BB-2000 provides some of the strongest spray pressure on the bidet market, only being outclassed by its predecessor the Bio Bidet BB-1000 which is about 10% stronger at the max. In accompaniment to the powerful spray pressure, the BB-2000 boasts an enema function designed to aid with constipation. Its enema function is the best on market and truly works, and again, is only outclassed by the Bio Bidet BB-1000. This enema function accompanied with the BB-2000’s spray pressure makes for an excellent and very effective cleanse. Additionally, it comes with a 3 year warranty that covers parts and labor, as well as a 30 day money back guarantee trial. Bio Bidet, as well as all of us here at BidetKing are confident you’re going to love this bidet seat.
