New Improvements
At first glance, the Brondell Swash 1400 bidet toilet seat looks pretty similar to the previous Swash 1000 model. Upon closer inspection, you'll notice that the silohuette has been updated with a more modern profile. The lid remains sturdy and sittable, but the water supply inlet and electrical cord are now hidden in a pocket towards the rear left of the unit (when facing the toilet). This creates a more streamlined look for the bidet seat by allowing you to hide the supply hose and electrical cord on the same side. Just in case you already have the power outlet on the other side of the toilet, the Brondell S-1400's power cord should be long enough to wrap around behind the toilet to the right (3.5ft).
An LED nightlight is another smart addition to this latest Brondell Swash lineup. A popular trend in modern bathrooms, an LED nightlight for the toilet allows users to use the bathroom at night without having to turn on the bathroom lights--an important safety feature so your eyes won't need to readjust in dark hallways. The Brondell Swash 1400 bidet has an automatic air deodorizer, but unlike the previous generation, this deodorizer has a replaceable catridge so it can be refreshed in the event that it loses effectiveness.
The Brondell Swash 1400 toilet seat bidet is still operated via a wireless remote control that comes with a magnetic wall mount. The remote control has been updated with a thinner profile and less bulk. The remote still has a nice clean layout, but now you also have the ability to save 2 user preset profiles. This will help you save a few button presses in case different users prefer different settings. The other new button that's been added is an "auto" button that will run through full rear wash cycle and then a full drying cycle with one press.
The last big improvement that Brondell added to the Swash 1400 bidet toilet seat is to the wash nozzle itself. To address a concern from the previous generation, the Swash 1400 wash nozzle has been extended and there are more position settings during cleansing. This gives the bidet seat a longer cleansing range and provides a farther reaching front feminine spray.
Same Great Quality
The Brondell Swash 1400 bidet toilet seat is a step forward for an already uber popular model. In addition to the great improvement listed above, it still sports all the great standard features you'd expect from a luxury washlet including a tankless water heating system, dual stainless steel nozzles, heated seat, warm airy dryer, deodorizer and sturdy construction.

Brondell Swash 1400 vs Bio Bidet BB-2000
Brondell Swash 1400 vs Brondell Swash 1000
BidetKing.com Expert’s Review
Brondell is one of the leading bidet companies in the United States. Brondell has made a reputable name for itself with popular models like the Swash 1000, and the updated Swash 1400 bidet toilet seat. Here, our bidet expert breaks down the features, strengths and weaknesses of the Brondell Swash 1400.
FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS
The Swash 1400 is Brondell’s flagship model. It boasts great luxury features such as adjustable heated seat, adjustable spray pressure, oscillating spray, wide spray capability, and many others. In its arsenal, the 1400 also carries a handful of unique features like user presets, a cool blue night light, dual nozzles, and a sittable lid. Here is the break down of these terms and what they entail.
Dual Nozzles
The Brondell Swash 1400 is one of the few popular models that utilizes separate nozzles for the front and rear wash. The first thing to clarify about this dual nozzle feature is that both nozzles do not spray at the same time. One nozzle is dedicated solely for the rear wash, while the other is solely used for the front, feminine wash. Some users like the idea of having separate nozzles for each function for cleanliness. In practice, you’ll never actually be able to tell whether the bidet seat washing you is using one nozzle with different sections, or two separate nozzles. They feel the same. Also, the nozzle never touch you and are self cleaning, so cleanliness isn’t much of an issue. The Swash 1400 does have a better front feminine reach than its predecessor the Swash 1000, and is now about the same as other top bidet seats.
Tankless, Ceramic Core Heating System
The Brondell Swash 1400 has a ceramic heating component that is tankless and is fully capable of producing continuous warm water. The Swash 1400 has four modes of temperature that are displayed on its remote above its “Spray Temp” button. No light on indicates room temperature water is flowing through the bidet, blue light on means low 90 degree water, pink light on indicates 95 degree water, and a red light on means high 100 degrees fahrenheit water is flowing through the unit.. The Swash 1400 water heating is consistent and lasts for the entire wash cycle. There’s a tiny lag of room temperature water in the beginning, which is normal for tankless on demand style heaters.
Nozzle Construction
The Swash 1400’s dual nozzles are composed of stainless steel nano coated nozzles. This stainless steel nano coated nozzle prevents bacteria from thriving upon the nozzle all while keeping aesthetic integrity. Stainless steel is a natural antibacterial element which also helps with corrosion. Similar to the dual nozzle feature, a stainless steel nozzle is a nice-to-have but not necessarily crucial element. As a user, you’ll never be able to tell what the nozzle is made out of, and some of the most expensive bidet seats on the market (TOTO) still use plastic.
Adjustability and Convenience
The Brondell Swash 1400 has fully adjustable nozzles in spray pressure, nozzle positioning, water temperature, and in a more unique convenience: wide spray. These conveniences are designed for precision as well as an effective wash. Water temperature is capable of changing between four temperature settings as described above in the Heating System section. The nozzles also have 7 different nozzle positions for the best targeted wash possible. With the precision also comes the ability to go wide, a unique adjustment that changes the width of the spray. The wide spray feature has 3 different settings of width. The widest setting hits your body with roughly a 3” diameter and is a more gentle feeling spray. The narrowest setting hits with roughly a 1” diameter and is the most forceful. Overall, the spray pressure of the Swash 1400 is about average for the market.
Replaceable Deodorizer
The Brondell Swash 1400’s deodorizer is a replaceable deodorizer that is very simple to swap out. One quick slide of its tab and a switch with a new cartridge and you’re done. It is important to note the deodorizer is a carbon deodorizer and not scented. It is due to carbons properties that this feature helps to deodorize the smell of the room. It’s fairly effective, but like all deodorizers, doesn’t completely eliminate all odors.
User Presets
The presets on the Brondell Swash 1400 has the capability to remember two users. The program is capable of remembering the following options: Water Temperature Level, Nozzle Position, Spray Level, Spray width, and Nozzle Oscillation. Programming of these presets isn’t too hard and should only take about a minute or two.
Nozzle Sterilization / Self Cleaning
One of the best features on the Brondell Swash 1400 is its sterilization feature. This feature is activated with a simple button labelled “sterilization.” Once pressed a cleansing silver oxide nano-particle water treatment will begin. This will last for 60 seconds while the nozzle extends and retracts. This Silver oxide nano-particle system was designed to be antifungal and anti-bacterial in order to keep your nozzles sterile and free of corrosion. The nano-particles according to Brondell never lose effectiveness and never need replacing. In reality, it’s hard to say how much better this feature is than other brands’ self cleaning nozzles, but we’ll take Brondell’s word for it.
Seat Heating and Seat Size
The Brondell Swash 1400 offers a seat warmer like most bidets. This seat warmer is as simple and as intuitive as most features found on the Brondell Swash 1400. To activate the seat warmer simply press the “Seat Temp.” button. A blue light will immediately appear displaying its low setting of 89 degrees, if pressed again the unit will switch over to Medium displaying a pink light indicating 93 degrees, its last setting is a red light and this will offer warm heating of 97 degrees.
The seat on the Brondell has some slight differences from other bidet seats. These differences may be seen as beneficial knowledge so we decided to include them. One nice design difference we noted on the Brondell Swash 14000 is that it has a slight bit more opening space than most units. It is not much, but the opening is about ½” longer. Where most elongated bidet seats have an average opening of 8” x 11, the Brondell Swash 1400 is a little bit bigger at 8” x 11.5”.
Seat height is another highlight of the Brondell Swash 1400. The Swash is what one would call a slim profile seat. At its highest rise on the rear end of the unit it is 5 inches, and at its lowest point on the front lip of the seat it is about 1.5”.
Sittable Lid
What surprises many first time bidet seat users is that the lids are not sittable. That means when you close the lid down, it’s not designed to support adult weight. For some users that use their toilet lid like an extra seat in the bathroom, this is a deal breaker. Others don’t care. The Brondell Swash 1400 is one of the few bidet toilet seats that has a sturdy, sittable lid that will support up to 300lbs. A very nice feature.
Wireless Remote
Another strength of the Brondell Swash 1400 has to be its remote. The Swash 1400’s remote is simple in use and sleek in design. All functions are jotted down in simple to understand words or symbols. The remote easily sits in your hand and is not overly big or thick for ease of use. Its wall mount is slim and the remote attaches to it magnetically. The one minor downside to the remote that is powered by less conventional batteries: coin cell batteries, but shouldn’t be hard to find at any local store.
Installation
The installation process for the Brondell Swash 1400 is fairly standard - not harder or easier than any other bidet seat once you have an electrical outlet in place. It is a matter of twenty minutes for anyone who is fairly handy. The installation of the Swash 1400 does not require any real plumbing and all parts for standard installation are included with the unit. Note that the 1400 requires a minimum of 1.75” clearance behind the toilet seat bolt holes. It is not compatible with one-piece toilets with a french curve.
Electrical Specifications
The Brondell Swash 1400 runs on a standard 15 amp 110/120 volt outlet perfectly fine. A dedicated circuit is not required so long as there’s no other heavy appliances on the same circuit. At its highest settings, the Swash 1400 will draw about 1400 watts during a wash. The seat will only draw this much power when all temperatures are set to maximum levels and while it is currently spraying - so maybe 5 minutes per day. It will only draw about 55 watts or less when idle. On average, electronic bidet seats will cost $30-$45 a year in electricity.
Cons
The Brondelll Swash 1400 is a very nice bidet seat and its flaws are minimal. In our opinion. Its biggest drawback is a relatively weak warranty for its price. Its competitors in this price range offer a 3 year 100% coverage of parts and labor warranties. The Swash 1400 has a limited warranty that degrades in coverage each year (100%, 75%, 50%). Brondell does offer a 5 year premium warranty of 100% full coverage for an additional $99.
Another potential drawback is the spray pressure. The Swash 1400 has good enough pressure for normal cleansing, but if you are used to higher spray pressures from other models, than you may find it lacking.
Lastly, the Swash 1400 seat has a bit of a slope near the back that we’ve heard is an issue for some users. It is not a common complaint, but some customers find this to be true and it is something to note.
Why Should You Buy the Brondell Swash 1400?
The Brondell Swash 1400 is truly a luxury class bidet seat built with great quality from a company with a strong reputation. It is loaded with solid features as described above, but what makes it special is its sleek design and unique features. The fully sittable lid on the Brondell Swash 1400 is one that isn’t found too often in many bidets. The cool blue night light, presets, dual nozzles, and very sleek remote are also very unique features found on the Brondell Swash 1400. Lastly, The Swash 1400’s simple use of functions upon the remote make this a great seat for anyone, no matter how tech savvy, to use with ease. Additionally, it comes with a 30 day money back guarantee trial. Brondell, as well as all of us here at BidetKing are confident you’re going to love this bidet seat.

Customer Reviews
- Swash 1400 Review by Ron
Received and installed my Swash 1400 early February 2021. Installation was very easy and only took about 15 minutes. Instructions for installation were very clear and direct. The unit operated just as described. Being the first time using a bidet, the trial run was a real eye opener to the fantastic marvel of this equipment. Have been using the Swash 1400 for a few weeks, the comfort and cleanliness provided is well worth the purchase. I should mention that this is the first time I had ever used a bidet. Thank you for providing such amazing equipment for the bathroom. (Posted on 2/12/2021)Rating - Overall Good Unit/Good Value Review by Aussie
I bought the Swash 1400 from BidetKing. With the 20% discount it was the best value on the market for me considering my main goals were 1) personal hygiene, 2) bathroom upgrade and 3) value for money. Overall a very good experience. Simple installation for anyone with basic DIY experience and a few tools.Rating
I don't think that I can add more details than other reviewers here (and elsewhere) however the features that I liked the most were the BidetKing/Brondell Trial period, tankless unlimited hot water (yes there is some temperature variation ... but it is good), sittable lid, the BidetKing rating (and the Amazon rating). The other features met or exceed similar level bidets; Quality (rated high ... established company ... we'll see over time), Front/rear bidet wash, Heated seat (very nice), Warm air dryer (good, but normally takes 3-minutes to dry (not 2 as per the automatic setting), Soft closing seat/lid, Deodorizer, Stainless steel nozzles (although there is apparently no study showing that these are better than plastic ... I do prefer SS), Adjustable nozzles, Sterilizing nozzles (nice feature ... expected to last the lifetime of the seat), Separate posterior/feminine nozzles, Nozzle oscillation (but I prefer fully extended), spray pattern, fitment (very good, but be careful with the online instructions and fitment charts, some of which are very wrong).
My main area for improvement requests would be:
1) More water pressure. I think that it is very good now ... but more would be better. This was reported by other reviewers, so I was aware of this on purchase.
2) Prorated warranty (not a 3-year full warranty) was one of the weakest points. Again, reported by other reviewers and given the strong technical performance of the unit, this reduced warranty was almost a deal breaker for me. The discounted price from BidetKing tipped the scales back to the Brondell for a "value" purchase.
3) Light that switches off during the daytime ... but it is still good as is and now I don't need to turn on a light at night when using the toilet
Oddities (BidetKing): My shipped/delivered unit seemed to have been opened already. It did not appear used but the packaging was in disarray (not due to shipping), the instruction package was cut open (and it is a resealable plastic bag???) and two washers were missing (could have been missing from the factory … maybe). Brondell replaced the washers without question. The washers did not prohibit installing and testing the unit, so it was just an inconvenience.
(Posted on 2/6/2021)- don't bother if you have a round toilet Review by A
The bidet itself I'm sure is good, but making them for round toilets is very much pointless. They leave no space in the front of the seat for certain parts(I'm 135 lbs so a bigger person will have more problems than I). (Posted on 2/4/2021)Rating - GOOD DESIGN Review by NG
Features are good and it works well. We all like it. Only the pipe connections are little bit hard to install. (Posted on 1/28/2021)Rating - Good Product but not perfect Review by Oversteer
This is our first Bidet so I am no expert and have only used a few of these things when traveling over seas. In all the installation was easy and well documented. The product comes with most everything you need, but everyone's setup is different so you may have to go to the hardware store and get different fittings and hoses. Overall, the construction seems sturdy and the unit does as advertised. I have had no major complaints or issues with the unit in the first few months of use. I didn't think the remote was necessary when I made the purchase, but it is awesome and I'm glad we got it.Rating
Now for the not great part:
Water temp is not even close to consistent. It hasn't frozen or scalded us, yet, but you never know what it will be when it hits you. Sometimes is starts off hot and then gets cool, or vise versa. Always a surprise.
There is a long delay when you push the button to clean yourself. It goes through a third cleaning process (it cleans after you are done, it cleans when you sit down, and then again when you press the button), and is supposed to drain the water in the line so you get warm consistent temps. The delay when you press the button to clean and when you get cleaned is never the same so it is always a surprise when it finally hits. I guess this is great if you like surprises. They should add a tone or something to warn you when the action is about to happen.
The light never turns off. I think it's a great feature for middle of the night visits but during the day or when the lights are on it is unnecessary. Looks like they would add a light sensor, like most appliances have, to turn it off if there is another light source.
Like other's have said the fan is about useless unless you have a lot of time to wait.
Don't buy into the 30 day satisfaction guarantee either. The documentation clearly states that you can only return the item new and unused with a restocking fee. Basically a buyers remorse clause. You can't install it, try it, and then return it, unless I miss read something.
Overall, I would purchase again, but the varying temperature and surprise spray really needs to be addressed. (Posted on 1/28/2021)- My first bidet! Review by Granberry
I’ve had my bidet a few months now and love it. This is my first one and I’ve learned all of the features and how to use it. My husband and I both enjoy the freshness that we feel as a result of using this product. (Posted on 1/27/2021)Rating - Love it but could be much better Review by coticon
This review is for the Brondell Swash 1400 Round Bidet seat.Rating
Let me begin by establishing that we love our Brondell Swash 1400; and the reason for a score of 3 stars, rather than 5 will be addressed shortly.
Sensitivity alert: Please be aware that this review has been written to give you a factual account of the unit based upon personal experience in a subject area where certain descriptions may be distasteful to some readers – for that I apologize and if you are squeamish, I encourage you to read no further – but for the rest who want to know and understand the pros and cons of these units before deciding whether or not to fork out ½ grand – I invite you to read on.
Note: Some of these points made in this review will be general to all automatic bidets regardless of the manufacture, while other pros/cons specific to this unit alone – so for purposes of clarity each paragraph will begin with a descriptive header (General or Brondell).
General Myth: “When you have an automatic bidet you no longer need toilet tissue” and, “Join the Wash Don’t Wipe Revolution! “ – Reality: you will still need toilet tissue (albeit in significantly reduced amounts) for 2 purposes: 1) to absorb the water that remains (see below about the drying function) and 2) to ensure that you are clean (see my next comment about how well it does its job).
General Myth: “You will be clean as a whistle” – Reality: at the end of each wash/dry cycle, you must check with toilet tissue because I have found that about 10% of the time, you will need to run a second cycle and on very rare occasions a third.
Brondell 1400 Reviewer Myth: Many have reported - the blow dryer does not work – Reality: the air dryer, on warm setting, will evaporate about 80% - 90% of the water that was sprayed during the cleaning process. You then will need only need a small amount of toilet tissue to absorb the small few drops that remain – personally - I like the dryer and use it every time.
Brondell 1400 Myth: “This electronic bidet features an endless warm water spray” Reality: The unit’s water temperature fluctuates considerably during a 2 minute wash. While neither scorching hot nor chillingly cold, it does cycle from VERY warm to quite cool, testing those extremes.
General Advice: If you have Hemorrhoids which may be irritated or inflamed the first shot of water can be real eye opener. If you feel this may be the case, “clench-up” and after the irrigation begins, gradually relax and you should find that the discomfort/burning will be greatly decreased/eliminated.
General Observation: A separate hand controller is very, very useful. The wand supplied with our Brondell Swash 1400, is excellent. Because body position and situations differ, during a 2 minute cleaning, I like to change head positions and spray-width during a programmed wash cycle to achieve better results. I cannot imagine having to reach down to the side of a unit to hunt around for the appropriate button.
General Observation: A heated seat is really nice and appreciated even more so when the weather turns cold – think about that the next time you sit yourself down.
For the Brondell 1400 Circular Model: the measurements required for clearance from the water tank to the screw holes (1 ½”) are MINIMUM requirements and if just met, – the seat (even though it is flat against the water tank), is pushed forward, exposing part of the front rim of the porcelain bowl. The results are that one’s male “member”, will come in contact with the upper porcelain rim several times. If you find this unacceptable, you may want to reconsider, or purchase an elongated toilet and accompanying bidet seat.
Brondell Myth: “[… you can] create your ideal bathroom experience with endless combinations from this home bidet”. Reality: THIS is the reason for my 3 star rating i.e. The programming capability for a unit that costs in the range of ½ a thousand dollars is abysmal since what is offered is, at best, the very minimal needed to enable it to qualify for the description “programmable” .
The Reality: while pressing the “Automatic” (read: preprogrammed wash/dry) Button does the following – the User Programmable Mode WILL NOT:
Allow you to program a dry cycle that begins automatically after the wash – yes, you can manually press the dry button after the wash cycle has finished, but that is not befitting a product that costs this much.
Program a wash cycle for anything other than 2 minutes - yes, you can manually press the stop button to stop the wash, or press the rear wash button twice to extend the wash - but that is not befitting a product that costs this much.
In addition:
The Brondell User function will not allow you to program discrete segments of a given attribute (e.g. first 20 seconds narrow spray width, followed by next 20 seconds medium spray) – yes, you can manually press the appropriate button(s) during the wash to change settings (e.g. the spray width, the spray position, the water temperature), but that is not befitting a product that costs this much.
Require you to reprogram both User functions if either User program is changed - yes, you can do this but that is not befitting a product that costs this much.
Instead Brondell should have provided a “Macro Recording Capability”, sometimes known as a “WYSIWIG (what you see is what you get) or WYDIWIG (what you do is what you get)” – it could work this way (as an example): Press User 1 button 3 times to enter the recording mode; press the water temperature button as desired, press the spray width button as desired, press the oscillation button; press the rear wash button (to start the wash); (after a time period) – perhaps … press the head position button to move it a little more forward; (after a time period) –press the spray width to change the width setting … etc etc etc … press the stop button; press the dry button; (after the desired length of time) – press the stop button. Then press and hold the User 1 button (perhaps 5 seconds) to write the macro into the User 1’s memory for the sequence you just did. NOW Brondell’s statement: “Create your ideal bathroom experience with endless combinations from this home bidet” would be a reality rather than empty sales jargon. And because this is not implemented, what you get is expensive unit which is significant less than what it should be.
(Posted on 1/27/2021)- Works well Review by Dudley
The Swash1400 works well. Unfortunately there is a water line filter needed (purchase extra) that is not in the description b4 purchase. Shipping internationally is also an added cost that would be better if it was all converted to the currency of origin prices.Rating
The water pressure even at max is not quite strong enough so it takes a little longer to become squeaky clean.
I do recommend it to my friends and family. (Posted on 1/26/2021)- Simply the best Review by JohnG
I’ve had this bidet for years. Recommended it to friends, and then bought one for each of my office bathrooms. Super high quality and easy to use. Love the heated seat and the always warm water. Also love the adjustable nozzles. I have a seat on a regular toilet as well as a French curve toilet. Spend the money on an appliance you will use for years to come. Your booty will thank you for it. (Posted on 1/26/2021)Rating - Great seat Review by Frank
This is a pretty good seat, the only con I have is an enema feature would have put it over the top. The remote is easy to use and the seat is well built. This is my second Brondell after trying a BioBidet after 3 or 4 years. (Posted on 1/26/2021)Rating - Great Product, Great then Horrible Support Review by Dan Gman
We purchased a Brondell Swash several years ago. It has performed admirably. With one exception! About a year after purchase we started noticing a puddle forming next to the toilet and dripping down into our basement bathroom. It started overnight while we were asleep. After some investigation we noticed water coming out of the little filter plug. It was leaking from a crack where you have to insert a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten. I called customer service and they were great. Sent me out a new one feee of charge fixed it on the spot. I chalked it up to maybe I cracked it over tightening.Rating
Fast forward about two years with no leaks. All of a sudden I have a puddle again. Leaking from the same place and this time I haven’t removed r even touched it, so I know I did nothin wrong. I went to Brondell’s website hoping this time it was listed on there website as I part to purchase given its inherent design flaw, but still not a part you can easily purchase online. Left a voicemail in November 2020 and just sent an email to them on Jan 8th 2021. I even sent an image of the part. Still no response two weeks later. However I am getting emails about a new air purifier they are selling. I got a massage about covid and the holiday affecting response times but it has been almost two months since my first outreach.
So now I sit with a $400 dollar heated toilet seat because I had to disconnect the water source. Even worse, I am afraid to keep it plugged in without the water connected for fear of burning the element out. Just in case I can get them to send the part or I can find some way to repair.
I would expect at least 5 years out of one of these given the cost. In summary, I will not purchase another Brondell bidet or product given the lack of support for maybe a 10 dollar part that surely is a flaw in design. I will go with a different brand as we are hooked on having bidets. (Posted on 1/21/2021)- Small & Uncomfortable Seat Review by Daniel
The features are fine and it work as it should. Not happy with how the seat pushes you forward. Awkward design and it makes certain male parts touch and rub the front inside of the toilet. This is my 3rd Bidet and this is the first time I have had this problem. The high back seat is very awkward. I would not get this again for this singular reason. (Posted on 1/20/2021)Rating - Quality product Review by Craig K
Great features at a reasonable price. Easy to install and operate. Night light is a comfortable blue color. Heated seat works well and heats up quickly if using the eco mode. Good water pressure stream and easily customized. Only gripe I have is the seat seems pretty short if you are used to a regular elongated seat to compenate for the mechanics (Posted on 1/14/2021)Rating - Holy Swash! Review by CW
This thing is fantastic! Even with the plumbing connections, it was easier to install than our last plain, old toilet seat. I added the water filter, because we have very hard, mountain water. I do recommend using plumbers' tape for all of the connections.Rating
We have been using it for about a month now and are very pleased with this purchase. It delivers on all of the promises made. The Swash 1400 is easy to use and pleasantly effective. Wow! We got it on a fabulous sale through Bidet King. Extra lucky! Even at full price, this luxury gadget rocks. (Posted on 1/9/2021)- Nice product, super easy install Review by lemonmelon
I have been wanting a bidet seat for a long while but was scared of the installation and potential fit issues. This black Friday I decided to go for it and chose this Brondell product. First, BidetKing made it really easy to feel confident about the choices and trade-offs I had to make when selecting this product. After receiving it, I am really impressed. Installation was super-easy, easier than changing a faucet line. The bidet is wonderful. Love the extras: the sittable cover, the blue light and the adjustable stream width. Water pressure and temperature is just right - at least for me. (I wanted to have no tank to save on electricity, and there is just a split second of cooler water.) Overall, my family was hesitant to embrace my love for a bidet seat but now that it's in our home they love it even more than I do. (Posted on 12/26/2020)Rating - Awesome Review by 1saint

Before purchasing the Swash1400 I had never used a bidet, although my wife has. After doing a considerable amount of research, I decided to go with the Bronell Swash 1400. Upon receiving it, I was impressed with the manual. When a company goes to the effort of writing a manual, not only on how to install their product, but also how to utilize it, in a clear and understanding manner, it says something about the effort that the company spent on the product itself. Upon using the Swash 1400 for the first time (I was also a virgin in the use of a bidet), I immediately wondered why I had never used one before? The Swash 1400, has all the features one would need at a reasonable price. I especially liked that this product had a continual warm water feature so that the water would stay throughout the wash at a constant temperature. I could go on and on about the features of the 1400 but suffice it to say that we have used all of the features and are pleased with the thought that went into the creation of this product. The warranty (not yet used is 3 years) and a lifetime of tech support also helped us decide on this product. Lastly, Bidetking was very responsive to my questions before the purchase and remained helpful when I had a few questions after we received the 1400. While I am happy with this product, my wife is even more pleased, and one knows what that means (happy wife happy….:) (Posted on 12/21/2020)Rating - skeptical at first Review by Scouter
We researched the Brondell products and a few others. We kept coming back to the Brondell Swash 1400. We got it on sale so that was a big plus. Had to run electric into toilet area but no big deal. The more I use it the more I like it. It does take a while to get used to using it but now we both noticed that we use less toilet paper and I feel cleaner. Haven't programmed user 1 or 2 yet, we are still playing with all the options. (Posted on 12/20/2020)Rating - Swash 1400 Review by James
I just purchased the Swash 1400 for my wife and I for Christmas. It took about 10 minutes to install. I replaced our Brondell heated seat with the Swash so we already had the GFI outlet. If it is possible for someone to fall in love with their toilet seat, then I am guilty. For the first time I feel clean after doing my thing. I always felt like the toilet paper was just smearing things around. I only felt clean after a shower. My wife always told me that I used too much toilet paper, now I use none. Perhaps I can also save a tree or two. PS My wife loves it too. (Posted on 12/8/2020)Rating - Easy installation and functions Review by Edward

After reading the great reviews we ordered the swash 1400, I had no problem in the installation and installation in less than 15 minutes, my wife was skeptical but she has already been pleased with the device , this is the second Brondell toilet seat we have purchased, we have a heated only seat at our vacation home ???? but this is our first bidet, so new but so easy to use
Looking forward to continuing our use !
(Posted on 12/1/2020)- It Can Be Improved Review by ACE JR
A very nice product. However, it has room for improvement:Rating
1) The dryer feature is too weak to do a good job. When I'm done using the product. my feeling is that I need to use a piece of cloth to finish the job.
2) I wish that by just pressing the User1 or User2 memory button, it would immediately run the customized cycle settings programmed into these buttons. You have to press the User1 or User2 button and then press the "Rear Wash" or "Front Wash" the run the cycle. The memory functions should also allow to program a final "Air Dryer" onto these buttons. My father is 90 years old and it is very hard to teach new tricks to an old dog !
3) If you do not seat all the way back on the seat, your private parts could touch the seat (for those with large private parts). (Posted on 11/29/2020)- Great bidet! Review by Michael
I wasn't sure about having one of these things, but since it's been installed, it's the only toilet I want to use. It has great features, was easy to install. Some of the draw backs are: you need to have an outlet close by your toilet, the seat opening is small so it takes a little getting use if you have a more modern toilet with a big opening, the drier feature is kinda weak so don't expect much from it. But other than that the warm water and the other features are nice. (Posted on 11/25/2020)Rating - great product Review by jastuke

I purchased this bidet seat hoping it would help me in the bathroom. I am disabled, and needed a way to feel cleaner after using the bathroom since I can’t twist and reach the areas I need to reach. As I researched, I decided I wanted the bells and whistles, and I use all of them on this seat! I love that various features allow for adjustments, so every experience is a positive one. As the cool weather comes in, I especially like the heated seat! I have a small bathroom that has no room for a chair or stool and I need to sit while drying off and drying my hair after a shower. This seat is “sittable,” so I can sit and do what I need to do after my shower without any help. The only weakness is the dryer feature. If you sit there long enough, I guess it might work, but from what I’ve read, they all have this problem. The dryer is just too weak to do the job. I expected this, so I’m ok with it. The many positives of this seat far outweigh this one negative. The installation process is reasonable; the biggest problem turned out to be the removal of the old seat! Installing this bidet seat is pretty straightforward, and you don’t have to be a plumber to do it. Some instructions could have been clearer, but we figured it out. I’m lucky that I had the proper outlet close enough to use for this seat. All in all, I love this product and wish I had purchased one sooner. I got it on sale, too, which made it even sweeter! I reviewed many bidets before deciding on the Brondell 1400. Absolutely important was to have good installation instructions and be deemed easy to install since my husband was doing the work. After speaking with my son who has a basic bidet, I wanted a bidet that was going to pamper me a bit -- warm water, different water pressure , a warm seat especially in the winter, different nozzle positions and have the ability to keep everything sanitary. I felt the price was a good fit for all the bells and whistles that is included with the Brondell. The remote is easy to use and I had no difficulties setting my User standards.Rating
My husband was pleased with the ease of installation and loves the night light (go figure). He was skeptical about the purchase and caved in only to please me. Well as it usually turns out I heard him bragging about having the Brondell to some of his family and how he should have bought it sooner. I agree with the last comment,we should have.
This was the right choice for us and we couldn't be more pleased.

I had a severe intestinal abscess, a bowel resection and colostomy! I was one of the luck people who after 8 months with a bag of poop on there side, was successfully hooked back up! Praise God!! One of the results of this type of procedure is that things on the back side are not like they were before the procedure! Sensitivity and irritation are a result of the hook up! The Bideking 1400 has been a God send! After a week of use things are so much better back there! No wiping, no daily irritation! It is great!! Love the bidet!Rating
All of the features are as promised. Water pressure is nice, remote is great, installation is easy, water is not always hot... but never cold, great seat.
My only drawback is that it is both higher and sets you forward more. The seat changes a bit of how you sit on the throne. Moves you up and forward... for both my wife and I just a little awkward but not enough to not love it. (Posted on 10/2/2020)- Who knew...? Review by Koko Jo

About six weeks into this COVID-19 craziness, I ordered the Brondell Swash 1400 Bidet Toilet Seat. it shipped quickly (a few days as I recall), and arrived in good condition. To allow it to function, I had to add a new GFCI outlet near by (which was an effort). Once installed and connected, the Swash 1400 worked as advertised. My wife and several of her friends love it and tease each other about "bideting" (now a verb, apparently). The product is a good value and BidetKing was professional. Great bidet! Comfortable seat and installation went smooth. The controls are easy to understand and setup two profiles. This is my first bidet so I don't have anything to compare it to. It fits my Toto UltraMax 2 and looks like it was always part of the toilet. (Posted on 9/17/2020)Rating - Fair and Honest Opinion Review by farinc55
PRO: The Brondell 1400 does everything it says it will do so I have no issue with it living up to its advertising. It only took me less than an hour to set it up.Rating
CON: In all fairness, I think all bidet toilet seats (I'm not addressing bidet toilets which are a one piece toilet with the bidet functionality built into the toilet) have this issue of sizing comfort. If you'll notice, toilet seat bidets have the functioning part of the seat occupying the rear area of the toilet seat. And this valuable real estate, at least on the Brondell 1400 elongated version on my elongated toilet bowl, takes up 4.5" to 5" of the toilet seats sitting area. Why is this an issue? Well, it makes the person sit 4.5" to 5" forward in a natural sitting position. Which means for men, their junk is laying on top of the front of the toilet seat. In order to rectify this, a guy has to push his rear up the rear of the toilet seat so that toilet seat opening can accommodate their private parts, and even then, it's a tight fit. In other words, the end of one's member is being required to touch or push up against the inside of the front of the toilet bowl. Who wants that? Obviously, for women, this isn't an issue. I end up having to tear off some toilet paper and fold it over and hand it over the front end of the toilet to prevent the contact from being made. My next bidet purchase will be the entire bidet toilet which should prevent this from occurring as the toilet seat isn't impinged upon by the bidet equipment. As I stated, I don't think this issue is peculiar only to Brondell as you can see the other toilet seats and they all pretty much have the same design. There's simply no way to rectify this engineering to prevent this from happening with bidet toilet seats as the equipment must be located where it is.

(Posted on 8/31/2020)- should have done thus years ago Review by otto
Shipping and installation went on without a hitch. As a physician I would be interested in a comparison of the incidence of puritus ani, perianal abscess etc with the use of a powered bidet vs. paper. My guess is the bidet would be the winner. While the Brondell 1400 performs the intended job very well there is room for improvement . The remote is confusing to use and seems not to retain all programed functions. The temperature of the power wash fluctuates, for brief moments becoming uncomfortably hot. The front edge of the seat has a raised edge that puts significant pressure on the posterior thigh interfering with circulation to the lower legs and feet. Yet I will never go back, toilet paper is so twentieth century! (Posted on 8/24/2020)Rating - Excellent Review by LAW
Bought a Brondell 1000 about 10 years ago basically to give my aging mother some dignity at the end of her life. That Brondell was getting old but still worked. This is our first bidet purchase after having experienced other manufacturers' products in the home of various friends. We chose Brondell because it is one of the few seats upon which you can sit on the lid. I find this feature necessary when I want to dry toes, etc. so that is a major plus for me. Among the many features this model has, I thought the dual user setting would be convenient. We have found that neither of us uses it, we just press the Auto button and it works for us.. My husband and I are both fairly satisfied although we agree that the heated seat gets too warm even at the lowest setting. We are satisfied with the water temperature, pressure, and area covered so we are inclined to keep this item. When we are able to get the other bathroom remodel done I will want a unit for that toilet but will probably not buy this particular model again. (Posted on 8/15/2020)Rating - Why did I wait? I love my BidetKing bidet. I bought it originally to save on toilet paper. Now I find I use a bit more to be completely dry. Most of the time it is not necessary. I love all the different options. We had a problem when the control fell off the wall. We fixed that by screwing on the wall. Customer service could not have been more helpful. The best part was that the control was not damaged ,and we were back in business in one day. The price was more than comparable to other companies prices and options. I bought this because I was having shoulder surgery. It made my life so much easier! The instructions were easy to read and with a little help, it was set up in under an hour! The only downside is that we have a top flush and since the lid sits higher than a regular one, it’s harder to flush. I would have gotten a lower model if I had thought about that first. While I do not have some of the experience of other reviewers, as this is my first bidet at home, I can tell you that this bidet was everything that I was looking for. So far in my first week, it has performed flawlessly. I wanted a non-plastic spray want, heated water, heated seat, remote was nice but not needed, self-cleaning, air-dry (was nice but not needed). This had everything. My wife likes the user settings because I am significantly taller than she is, so it makes the seat easy for us to just click and use vs messing with setting each time. I have found that this leaves you "shower clean" and after a minute or two with the dryer makes it very easy to do the final wipe vs being wet.Rating
I would recommend this seat to anyone. I am also grateful for the 5 year extended warranty opportunity that Bidet King offers since these seats come with a 3 year, but the seats are a significant investment vs just a toilet. (Posted on 7/14/2020)- Brondell Swash 1400 Review by John
I purchased the Brondell Swash 1400 last month. This is my first bidet to purchase after reviewing the options for a couple of months.Rating
Pros: Heated seat is nice and the LED night light is nice to have.
Cons: If you're a male and weight more than 150 lbs, don't buy this. I have an elongated toilet but after installing the bidet, it's more like having a toilet seat designed for a 4-year-old. The seat opening is extremely small. The back of the seat has a high curve, which is very uncomfortable. The dryer function is a waste. Water pressure is ok on the wide stream, but the pressure reduces as you reduce the width of the stream and it can't be increased. There are wide gaps between plastic parts that are connected to each other, which shows the poor quality of this bidet.
Unfortunately, I have wasted over $600 on this bidet, which includes a 2 year extended warranty. The unit can't be returned since I have used the bidet to make sure it would work for my needs. BidetKing should allow a customer to use a bidet they purchase to verify it will work for their needs. You can only return a bidet if the box has been unopened/unused. This is poor customer service.
They also owe me a refund for the express shipping I paid, since they failed to ship on time and only shipped after I called and was told somehow they failed to print and ship on time. Stay away from this company, purchase from someone else that has better customer service. Make sure you read all the reviews, especially negative reviews. Don't waste your money. If it would let me, I would leave a rating of less then zero. (Posted on 7/10/2020)- Not good Review by B Hartzell

I purchased this three years ago and immediately fell in love with it. The Swash 1400 is the first bidet I had ever used and I think I was more excited about how clean and refreshed to realize the faults.Rating
Pros.
1. I love the clean look with the power and water connections more hidden from view better then other models.
2. I really appreciate the night light in the bowl great for aiming.
3. The water pressure and adjustments was great.
4. Soft close seat.
5. Heated seat
6. Two user memory settings.
Cons.
1. The plastic seat feels flimsy
2. The angle of seating is weird you end up spraying the back top of toilet with poo which on my toilet doesn't clean as well after flushing.
3. The water temperature breaker keeps tripping once a month or so (unplug for a few minutes and it would reset). Spray's super heated water for 1-2 seconds before tripping
4. The volume of beeps is not adjustable.
My overall opinion is that I'm disappointed that the seat only lasted three years. I feel that something that cost this much should last longer. I never felt that this was a quality product. I reached out to Brondell several times and the response were more canned and took several days to answer my concerns. For my second seat I have decided to try the Bio Bidet BB-2000. I will leave a review on that seat after I have used it longer but already the quality just feels better.

So, our Duravit Sensowash died a few weeks ago, the Duravit toilet itself was junk, but the Sensowash seat was amazing but couldn't be salvaged (you try to find anyone in the U.S. who willingly works on Duravit...)Rating
After a lot of comparison shopping, we finally settled on the Brondell Swash 1400 Bidet Toilet Seat (Elongated Seat model).
PROS:
Installation was SUPER easy.
The "Auto" wash function is great.
The lid is supposed to be 'sittable', but we'll get back to that in "CONS". (Mind you, this was a big reason we chose this much-more-expensive model.)
The user manual is well-written and thorough.
That's where the good news ends.
CONS:
Build quality is dismal. There are large gaps between plastic parts.
The seat is supposed to be for an Elongated bowl, however, the only thing they seem to have made bigger is the back housing. The seat/opening itself is smaller than my old Duravit round seat's opening. The shape of the seat is also a problem - it pitches you forward, considerably. It's very uncomfortable and awkward. The back housing of this bidet seat sticks out over 3 inches into the bowl - effectively turning an Elongated bowl into a very small "round" bowl. (Not to mention, again, but the actual seat part is ROUND, not elongated).
The 'sittable' lid is angled so much that sitting on it is really not possible.
The water stream is puny. Even when using the narrowest stream (which is supposed to maximize pressure), there's little water pressure and very little cleaning going on back there. I mean, it's better than just using toilet paper, but not by much.
Water temperature control is...well, poorly controlled. There are three choices, cold, not as cold, and hot. And you don't always start out with heated water.
The LED is not light-sensitive... it's always on. Not a huge issue, but wastes electricity.
The remote's wall-mounted holder is shaped in such a way that the remote rocks in it. This sounds petty, but it's annoying and speaks volumes about quality/poor design.
Speaking of the remote, some of the labels are confusing... "move" for example means "oscillate". I guess Mark Cuban is trying to save on ink costs...LOL.
Anyway, long story short, I wouldn't buy this again nor would I recommend it. If I could return it, I would.

Why didn't someone talk me into a bidet sooner? Bidet King was very helpful when it came time to purchase which I really do appreciate. The Swash 1400 has every option I was looking for. It was extremely easy to install. The blue light creeped me out after a few nights, but it was a cinch to turn off. Being all alone, I am using the "eco" mode but haven't noticed any perceivable difference in seat temperature. Maybe in the winter, but I can turn it off if it is an issue for me. Our second Swash arrived about a month ago after the first finally gave up the ghost. This new model is far better. The seat now has flanges that keep the seat in line with the toilet. Controls are more complicated, but allow two people to program their individual stream power and temperature, start or stop the spray movement (Dont't stop it.), turn on a dryer when you are finished and several other controls. We think bidets are great and don't understand why more people don't give them a try. So, put us in the happy derriere campers club. (Posted on 4/8/2020)Rating - Good but somewhat inconsistent Review by Ano
We purchase both the Brondell 1400 and the BioBidet BB-2000 for two different rooms to compare the two. The main advantage of the Brondell is that you have somewhat more control over the width of the spray stream than the BioBidet. That said, we didn’t find much difference in usage. The one issue is that the Brondell is all over the place with the water temp changing from cold to super hot during use while the BioBidet is rock solid on warm water. The Brondell does not have an LCD display which is fine actually. The BioBidet LCD is informative, but you can live without it and I would not avoid the Brondell just for the remote. If the Brondell had better water temp control the two would be a toss up but given water temp issues, if we need to buy another one, it will be the BioBidet BB-2000. Two mild criticisms, but overall this is a purchase I would recommend. I find that I am maxing out the pressure and wishing it was a higher setting, and it seems the setting I save are not ever save *exactly* as I intended. (Posted on 4/8/2020)Rating - Wonderful indulgence Review by Skeptic

This past Holiday season, I wanted to buy my loved ones, thoughtful and useful gifts. My oldest sister had been fighting and braving Colon cancer for the past year and she recently gotten another surgery in December to be able to use her colon properly once again. It is a hard process to relearn how to use those muscles and go to the bathroom “properly” again. I thought getting this amazing bidet would ease some of the difficulty of that adjustment by providing this experience with comfort and a sense of control. I did my research on bidets and this model exceeded our expectations on all the comforts it provided and the positive reviews it already had. My husband installed it fairly easy within 30 minutes and my sister has been grateful ever since. But don’t take my word... here is her review of the bidet:Rating
I have been thoroughly enjoying my fancy-pants bidet! But, of course, to use it properly, one should be wearing no pants. So maybe it's my fancy-no-pants bidet, haha!
It comes with a remote control, heated seat, nightlight, unlimited hot water on demand, and warm air dryer. It's everything you ever could have wanted to keep things fresh and clean.
My tushie has never been happier. ????????❤ (Posted on 4/7/2020)- Thorough Cleansing Bidet Review by MDry
I have never owned a bidet and must share that after purchasing the Brondell Swash 1400, I am amazed at how thoroughly it cleans you front to bottom. I like the pressure adjustments, the nozzle adjustments and the heat of the water coming out. I just got this last week and still figuring out the controls but I am very pleased and happy I purchased this. I do notice I'm using less toilet paper, which is a great advantage too. Getting up in the middle of the night and sitting on a warm toilet backlit with that soft blue ambient light is perfect so I don't turn lights on and can easily go back to sleep. I feel the price of this unit was a deal considering it has nearly all the features of higher-priced units. You will not be disappointed. (Posted on 3/30/2020)Rating - love my brondell!!! I’m 75 with all the aches and pains that go with it. My Brondell purchase is well worth the investment. Once you are sure of the sizing and the features you want, installation is not that difficult. No way to turn off the light unless you turn the power off.
No way to turn the power on or off with remote & the power button is hard to see off even if you are standing up.
Light is too bright.
Nozzel won't reach far enough forward.
The dryer is pointless & toilet paper sticks to you when you are wet. Not a good situation!

This is the second Brondell I have owned. First one started leaking after about 4 years so I decided to just replace it. Hopefully this one lasts longer. Obviously though, buying a second one, I really like having one. A few slight negatives though... blower isnt really very strong and doesn't heat quite as much as my previous one, and the light is too bright. Should be adjustable. Other than those two things I really enjoy it! (Posted on 12/21/2019)Rating - Great product! Review by Daniel
Received my order promptly, installation was a breeze. Price was great on Black Friday. Recently was on a trip to Japan, all the American style toilets had bidet seats, I was sold! For a product that has so many features (rear clean, front clean, heated water, warm air dry) I am very disappointed it does none of them well. Starting with the seat – it is not comfortable (I ordered the elongated design to fit my toilet); it puts one at a strange, unnatural angle. None of the adjustments to the rear cleaning made the water stream sufficient for normal cleansing (as in using toilet paper alone). I am sure you can figure out how I determined the results were unsatisfactory. The air dry takes forever and I always abandoned it before I was anything like dry. To say this product can save toilet paper is ridiculous. There was no way I could skip using toilet paper. This is a terrible disappointing product and since this was so highly reviewed I wonder if any toilet seat bidet can do a thorough job of personal cleansing. I did a great deal of research and read a lot of reviews before purchasing the very expensive Brondell Swash 1400 Bidet Toilet Seat. Either the reviews are not genuine or the user’s expectations are far lower than mine. There was no cleaning at all superior to using toilet paper either with or without personal hygiene wipes.Rating
(Posted on 10/22/2019)- Mixed Review by John
I have two toilets in my small home and have a bidet on each. The first one I purchased was a Biobidet BB-2000. I like everything about that product except the seat cover is not designed to be a seat. I purchased the Brondell Swash 1400 for the master bathroom because one can sit on the cover. My wife and I are elderly and find it safest to be seated when we dry our legs after coming out of the shower or tub. Because of the limited space in our bathrooms, the toilet seat cover serves us best when we can sit on it. Everything else about the BB-2000 is superior to the Swash 1400. At this time the Swash 1400 seems to be leaking water from some place yet to be determined. I have checked all the fittings and nothing is coming from these connection points. It seems to leak only when used. I don't know if the spray is somehow deflecting to splash out below the seat or if it is some other issue. I suspect I will discover the source and all will be able to correct the problem. Bottom line... unless you need to have a seat cover that can be sat upon, the Biobidet BB- 2000 is the better product. And surprisingly, the cost of both bidets was about the same. A few years of living in Europe made me a huge fan of bidets, so I was eager to somehow, without busting the bank, install a bidet in my USA bathroom that really didn't have the space for it. In comes the Brondell Swash 1400, no additional space needed, and I love it. It is everything that it is advertised to be and then some. Great features, easy to use, and oh so comfortable and efficient. And working with BidetKing couldn't have been easier. When the first unit I purchased had a problem, BidetKing personnel guided me through a few tests over the telephone, identified the issue almost immediately, and had a new unit delivered within days. A quick switch, return the old unit with postage paid by BidetKing, and the new Swash is working like a charm. So, in addition to selling a great product, BidetKing passed one of my ultimate tests: excellent customer service by a company that really stands behind its products. Would that all companies were as reliable. (Posted on 9/10/2019)Rating - Works great, good combo of features and price Review by L Dean
We wanted a higher end bidet for our master bath and chose the Brondell Swash 1400 for the combination of features and price. It feels solid on the toilet, nice and sturdy The options to adjust the temps for drying, water and seat are a nice feature, as is eco mode to lower the operating cost. I also like beign able to move the nozzle back and forth during use to adjust for position. At night the blue nightlight is a nice touch. I'd definitely recommend it.Rating
Tip: When enabling Eco mode, the Eco light does not come on immediately upon activation. Eco light doesn't come on until there is10 minutes of inactivity. So, when you first activate it, don't think it didn't enable. It working and you just need to wait for Eco mode to kick in. (Posted on 9/9/2019)- Swash 1400 Review by Star
I have always wanted a bidet. I just bought a house and it has one bathroom that is small. It is too small to add a separate bidet so when I saw the Swash 1400, I new that was the perfect solution and I had to have one! It is great. I feel so clean and it has a dryer and water temperature controls. And the heated seat is so nice! I have a tile floor and it is always cold, so having a nice warm seat is great! Finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the Cadillac of Bidets. I had planned on purchasing a bidet after a bathroom remodel a few years back and never did. I had mounted the electric outlet near the toilet with the intent of buying. I just wish I would have bought this sooner. One of the main reasons for buying this model was they offered the round toilet option. We have been using it since May of this year and could not be happier. Bidet King had the best price and the unit was shipped promptly. The box was damaged when it arrived but the unit was fine. Installed in about an hr. The only negative is I still cannot figure out how to program the User 1 or User 2 option on the remote. The Auto function does everything needed anyway. If loving a toilet seat is wrong, I don't want to be right. I love everything about this thing: the warm seat, the fully adjustable warm sprays, the deodorizer that actually works!, the dryer that sure, takes a while, but think of it as forced relaxation... just sit there and breathe a few deep breaths while you dry, and at the end you're relaxed, clean, and dry. I even love that blue light, though I wish I could dim it a bit. (Posted on 7/12/2019)Rating - Nice Bidet for the price Review by GXR
Purchased this one because it has a lid that you can sit on since it is next to the shower. It works fine but compared to a Toto s550e it is not as good, however considering it is half the price I can highly recommend it. The temperatures for the water and seat are warm only 98 degrees where other seats will warm to 102. So you can barely tell that the seat heater works, it is just not cold. The pressure is not as strong as a Toto but it will do the job. For the price it is an excellent bidet and it has a better warranty than the Toto. My younger son told me that he put a bidet on his toilet and explained how it worked. He had been to Japan and saw that they are all over that country--in restaurants, stores, homes, wherever! So that enticed me....as a senior woman who is finding out what arthritis is, I decided that this is a MUST! If I'm fortunate to live longer, then I'll be prepared! I mentioned this to some old friends of mine (also told my plumber who installed it for me), and the girlfriends got one, too, and the plumber said he might get one for his wife! (Likely story!) I love it! (Posted on 7/11/2019)Rating - That fresh and easy feel'in! Review by Jamz
Hey everyone!! I was in the Navy and had a couple visits to the magical land of super-toilets....Japan!!!! Never in my life would I have thought to try a bidet, but after my first experience I was hooked. Long story short I have been looking for the perfect bidet for home use since my last visit to Godzilla's birthplace. That's when I found the Brondell Swash 1400. I had been researching bidets for at least a few months when I kept coming back to the swash 1400. It has every feature you need and none of the ones you don't. The dryer is pretty much useless but everything works pretty spot on. The deodorizer works surprisingly well. The water pressure and temp is always on point, more then enough juice to clean properly and the temp stays warm about 80% of the time. Sometimes the temp drops around the end of the wash cycle. I've had my Brondell for about six month's and would recommend it to anyone interested in getting a thorough booty clean. (Posted on 6/26/2019)Rating - It's all good Review by kvmoomoo

I hate to brag, but I can say with confidence I have the cleanest butt in town. One feature I like about the BRONDELL SWASH 1400 is the subtle way it starts up. There's no shock to the system. It starts with a gentle tickle and builds up to a power wash. Also, the remote is very user-friendly. My only complaint is the dryer. After two minutes of drying, things are still damp. Believe me, everyone agrees. (Posted on 6/24/2019)Rating - Great bidet Review by Mikada
After I tried first time Swash 1400 toilet seat bidet that my son was able to win online I immediately purchased another one for the second bathroom . I never expected that my experience would be so enjoyable . It works perfectly and brought my everyday routine to a new level . The only disappointment is a smell of mildew coming sometimes from inside bidet . I found that it would be less noticeable if you use bidet with its full cycle without stopping it in the middle . The water has to cycle through completely . Other way it might cause the appearance of that smell . (Posted on 6/24/2019)Rating - It works Review by erm
I bought the round bowl version of this seat. It fits my toilet, but is very sloped, and the opening in the seat is smaller than a standard seat, so sitting on it in a comfortable way took some getting used to. The spray arms don't really reach very far forward, I end up using the "front" spray for "rear" cleaning. And the "dry" function is a joke. A very weak stream of air that does nothing to dry you off after an extensive rinse. I don't use the heated seat or the light, so those are bells and whistles I didn't need.Rating
That said, it is pleasant to have the option of bidet functions in a seat I can install myself. Just not perfect. (Posted on 6/20/2019)- spa treatment Review by ddev66
I'm female 5'7 170 lbs. Hubby is 6'0" and 230 lbs. We had a little trouble installing as our toilet is quite close to the wall, so it was difficult to get a wrench in there to tighten things up. We have an elongated bowl, I tried the round bowl seat (at a friends house) and it is simply too small for me and certainly not spouse. Upgrade to elongated toilet!Rating
As noted by others the front wash requires a gal to move around a bit to a more upright posture as the nozzle doesn't quite come forward enough (that's why only 4 stars). perhaps by the time i need a new seat this issue will be resolved.
Hubby likes it too. (Posted on 6/12/2019)- Love this product Review by BRIAN

I recently took a trip to Japan and discovered that just about every toilet seat in the country was a bidet seat. After using them I knew I had to get one. Almost all the seats in Japan were Toto, and they worked quite well. I researched seats from different manufacturers and Brondell seemed to have a clear advantage in terms of price and features, so I took the plunge and ordered a Swash 1400 from Bidet King. I couldn't be happier. The seat works perfectly and has features that were missing from the more expensive Toto seats I used in Japan. Dealing with Bidet King was seamless. This is my 2nd Bidet and as others including guys commented once one gets over the norms of society they can learn to enjoy the multiple benefits of a quality Bidet. Prior to this Brondell 1400 E-W Bidet I had a Cleansense DIB-1500-R. It was great but after 3 years the fan went haywire & was making noises.Rating
So I got this Brondell with the + 2 year warranty for 99 dollars which allows a FULL warranty without depreciation as the standard 3 yr warranty does which basically means each year the coverage lessens.
The real estate of the inside seat space is slightly less than (about a 1/2 inch) my old Cleansense which was a surprise. As a normal sized mid to larger man with our manhood especially these seats need at least 2 more full inches up front.
Otherwise this unit is great so I will not detract a star and still give it 5 stars. Never again will I buy a Bidet without the extended warranty... (Posted on 1/31/2019)- Great product Review by Mr clean

It does what it says it would do. Is it worth it? I guess that depends on your socio-economic status. We have a shorter toilet because we have an older house with a long narrow bathroom and even with the shorter (rounder) seat, it doesn't cover the front of the toilet. Since the back part of the seat is pushed forward, male parts touch the porcelain unless you sit unnaturally.Rating

First off, this is the second Brondell seat I’ve purchased. First seat was about five years ago, and is still in daily use, and going strong no problems.Rating
This seat has a different design, and a bit less seat real estate. Not terrible, but any smaller I would be disappointed. I’m tall (6’3”) athletic build, so I need more then average seat size. I bought the elongated.
Functions are fantastic, and with the heated seat, it’s paradise.
But..... there is always a but, right?
Make sure you order all the correct connection parts. I had a hidden hinge and hidden connection on my toilet. There was no mention of either of these while ordering, at least that I could find. There is instructions on measuring for seat type, but no mention of the other.
I had to order the hinges and valve after the fact and pay shipping, which would have been included in the original seat order. This also caused a almost two week delay. Not a huge deal, but for the $$$ it should be included as an optional choice, like the seat size. (Posted on 1/10/2019)- PooPerfect Review by SJBeachbum

the heated toilet seat. The blue light in the bowl area provides a lot of illumination so my mom does not have to turn on a light when she uses it during the night. Heated seat is a great feature. Stainless jets an asset along with sanitizer. Deodorizer and LED function work great. Front and rear functions are good in theory, however front does not reach forward enough for feminine hygiene. Elongated seat just a little shorter in length and more narrow than a regular one. Would like to see that adjusted. The ability to move the water stream and adjust the pressure is awesome. Install was very simple. Great product. I’ve only had a month. I've had the bidet for about a month now and I'm very happy with it. I love the nightlight, heated seat, heated water and adjustable nozzles. I'm very happy with the purchase. It wasn't cheap so I had high expectations, so far so good. (Posted on 11/2/2018)Rating - Life changing Review by Phonse
My friends laugh when I say life changing, but it’s true.Rating
I have gone my whole life thinking the standard toilet seat was the norm. Recently while on vacation my hotel room had a bidet seat. I laughed when I saw it but was curious. After a week of using a bidet seat I was converted. I came home and purchased the Brondell Swash 1400.
It is fantastic, a breeze to install and is now my new norm. BidetKing delivered it to Canada with no hassle. Top notch service. The word is spreading. Five of my friends are converted and plan on purchasing in the near future.
Thank you
Bidet King (Posted on 11/1/2018)- What a Pleasant Surprise! Review by Stanley
I purchased the Brondell 1400 Bidet seat for my wife after she saw a seat at her friends.Rating
Didn't really think about the seat until I installed it and listened to my wife rave about it, so I tried it out.
What a pleasant surprise. This thing is unbelievable. Not only does it clean you but the feeling of refreshness you have once complete is amazing.
The warm seat in itself is worth the purchase.
I suggest anyone that is thinking about purchasing a bidet seat, get the Brondell 1400. You won't be sorry you did.
(Posted on 10/29/2018)- After 11 months Review by AARON
I am spoiled by my first bidet (Swash 1400). My bidet just started having water temperature issues with getting too hot at the mid/end of its cycle. Its not good when your bottom get burned. I changed the filter and clean it regularly with the sanitized feature. I just reached out to the company due to I'm still under warranty. I will keep you posted on the final outcome and I just brought another bidet (non-electric) for my other bathroom. (Posted on 9/29/2018)Rating - Heaven Review by Peter
I recently purchased the brondell 1400 and installed it. IT IS THE MOST WONDERFUL THING SINCE SLICED BREAD. Easy to install (I did have to have an electrician) easy to operate, such a clean and wonderful feeling....aaaaahhhh.Rating
Peter in Ottawa (Posted on 9/11/2018)- Amazing Brondell 1400 Review by Libby
Never having used or even known about bidet seats, I did a lot a research, read a lot of reviews, and chose the Brondell 1400. I love everything about it. I can't imagine anything better. The ease of installation, the design, the water temps, the spray adjustments and options, the drying air, the comfort and ease of use, the seat heat which I do not need, the night light inside, the sterilize and deodorize options, the settings for two users if needed, I just love this thing and use it once or twice a day. For anyone with sensitive skin, or any kind of hemorrhoids or other issues, or who simply want to be cleaner all the time, this is a godsend, wish I had known about these things years ago. Love this model, so glad I chose it. (Posted on 9/11/2018)Rating - Very pleased Review by Swashee
Very pleased. Exactly as advertised. As some have commented, difficult to position oneself for anterior female cleansing, even with nozzle in most forward position. Would make the same purchase again, however, if I wanted to install in second bathroom. (Posted on 9/11/2018)Rating - Great with Caveats Review by Dan
The Brondell 1400 is a great beginning for a future design that REALLY rocks. Works fine+ EXCEPT the "forward" function intended for female usage fails miserably in moving forward far enough to work as intended. As is (and no corrective actions possible as per Brondell) - the "forward" function is useless unless the female contorts their body. The remaining functions seem to work as intended and work well - really pleased with cleaning actions.Rating
A major issue is the restricted opening due to the design cramming operational parts intruding into the opening of the commode. Our "elongated" opening is even reduced by well over an inch. I would hate to see the "regular" opening after installing the washlet.
In my opinion, the Brindell 1400 is a really great attempt at a supurb washlet. I also opine that Brondell could address the above caveats with enough effort.
Not having owned "other" brand washlets, I have no comparisons. It would be helpful to experience "others" or know of knowledge gained by those having experienced "other" brands.
(Posted on 8/22/2018)- Good for bowel disease people Review by CRAFTQUEEN
This is my second Brondell swash purchase with this time buying the model 1400. I just wanted to upgrade and put the older one in my guest bath. Quality is apparent. Anyone with inflammatory bowel disease will find this a much needed item. The cleanliness you experience is something you can't get with baby wipes or just toilet paper. This translates into less irritation which can be painful. Really I don't ever want to live without a bidet. BidetKing as a company to deal with is top notch. (Posted on 8/7/2018)Rating - Amazing! Review by James
I purchased the Bondell 1400 after reviewing the product on this and other sites. This Bidet has been nothing short of life changing. I suffer from Crohn's and some other medical conditions and this Bidet is a literal lifesaver. I will never go back to toilet paper and with our house paper usage, it will be less than a year before this product pays for itself. The seat arrived beautifully packaged and was very simple to install. The remote functions correctly and is packed with options. Anyone considering a Brondell or any other brand should purchase this Bidet. (Posted on 7/25/2018)Rating - Fatastic Review by Barb

I am very pleased with my Swash 1400 Bidet. I looked into others before buying. I wanted quality along with simplicity. This was easy to set up with the online directions. I made sure that I purchased the right size toilet seat when I ordered so the reach would be accommodating. It’s nice that this also can sanitize itself too, along with dry & deodorize. Also, the blue light inside toilet is just right. (Posted on 6/13/2018)Rating - Exceeded my expectations Review by Mike
This is my first experience with a bidet and both my wife and I are totally satisfied and impressed with the Swash 1400. It is a full featured well built unit and has a 3 year warranty. We bought it because of the features, price and warranty along with customer feedback that Brondell works with customers when they have problems. Bidet King was very helpful pre purchase and processed and shipped my order promptly. Their prices were the best that I could find. Very happy with Brondell and Bidet King. (Posted on 6/5/2018)Rating - If you’re on the fence go ahead Review by Timnlea
I’ve had the bidet about a month now and regret nothing. You get a level of clean you just can’t accomplish with toilet paper.Rating
The water pressure depends on your homes water pressure to an extent so it will differ for everybody a little but at my house the strongest setting is almost too strong. Needless to say everything gets clean.
The temp is plenty warm too. There is a tiny moment where cold water from the line hits you but it only lasts a second and it doesn’t bother me.
The nozzles adjust to everywhere so don’t worry it will reach the spots.
The dryer is a bit superfluous. I don’t really have the patience to sit there long enough for it to work but that’s expected. Sometimes I will use the tp just a bit and finish with the dryer. So if your goal is to be more eco friendly and do away with tp you’re gonna have to be prepared for the wait.
The deodorizer is a nice touch and helps.
The controls are pretty easy understand. I usually just use the auto and stop it when I want.
The way the seat sits will be weird at first. It angles you forward I’m going to assume so you’re in the right position. But I got used to it after the first week.
I do sit on the lid (135lbs) and it holds up well but it feels like my husband would probably break it even though he’s well under the weight limit. Might just be paranoia since it’s so expensive.
All in all I love it. Will always have one now. And it’s going to be great for any woman during their period. Women will understand sometimes you just wanna wash up down there during that time. (Posted on 6/1/2018)- Sad, not a happy customer Review by Jim Vanden Brook
I purchased the S1400 for my wife in our master bathroom through Bidet King. With in the first 3 weeks the left hing BROKE. When I call Bidet King they referred me to Brondell Swash and they were very helpful. They said I could send it in and they would repair It or send me the part and I could repair it.Rating
They sent the part quickly but when I went to repair it there was ANOTHER BROKEN PART. I called Bidet King for a refund and they said they could not take it back because it was USED!! My wife is 5’7” 130 lbs and I am 6’2” 225lbs.
It was not abused, disappointed in the quality so for.....but the service by Brondell Swash has been very good.
*Response from BidetKing* While we cannot take back used items for refund, it is certainly covered under the warranty and any/all broken pieces will be repaired or replaced by Brondell. (Posted on 5/21/2018)- Will never go back Review by leanda
The pros by far outweigh the cons but let me go through them anyway.Rating
Pros:
Very clean tush
Very clean tush (needed to be stated twice)
Self cleaning
Looks sophisticated
Deodorizing feature gives emotional support
Remote mounts easy (love the magnetic feature)
Two user memory settings are perfect for me and hubby (you can set a memory for both number 1 and number 2 for each user)
Operating is very user friendly and customization is extensive
Heated water feels lovely
Heated air feels lovely too
Heated seat will be so nice in the winter
And maybe most important the water pressure is plenty strong (but I hear it all depends on the pressure you already have in your house)
Very clean tush!
Cons:
Sits a little funny at first but by day two I was used to it and it didn’t bother me
The hole is a little small feeling (I have a round seat. The elongated might be a bit bigger) So women wont have as much room to wipe between their legs (number 1 y’all) then they are used to.
The air dryer is nice but most people probably will not have the time it would take to actually get you dry. Especially women.
Overall I’m in love. Can’t talk about toilets without getting a little graphic so here it goes. Men or women who have hairy backsides will adore this. You will feel super clean every time. Also people with hard to reach backsides (everybody is shaped different). Women will love this during their period. Especially the more mature ladies as things get heavier with age. Older people may be reluctant to try but anybody who has a hard time getting around absolutely needs this. For everybody else just get it anyway because it’s more hygienic and looks extremely cool.

I love my Swash 1400. I have a Swash 1000 and my first home and moved to help care for my aging parents and needed a new SWASH. They have oblong toilets and my Swash 1000 was for a round toilet so I HAD to get a new one! Boy do I love it! I love my Swash 1000 and love the 1400 even more! It cleans front and back wonderfully with heated seat, heated water, and air dry. The night light is an added bonus of not having to turn on the overhead light and "wake all the way up". As soon as I can, I will be getting another SWASH 1400 as there is another toilet in the house and once you have one, you don't want to use a toilet without one! For $700 not too impressed with this bidet. Too many buttons with too many unnecessary functions on the remote that you can’t make out at night when the lights are off. The blue toilet bowl light is too bright, even with the lid down. Pressure of water is weak. I agree with other reviewers that the wand doesn’t reach far enough. This bidet should be half the price. WE RECEIVED IT ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO AND IT WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION. WE INSTALLED WITH A LITTLE LEAKING PROBLEM ON THE HOSES, BUT THAT IS FIXED NOW WITH A LITTLE MORE TIGHTING THEN EXPECTED. WE LOVE THE NIGHT LIGHT AND EASY INSTALLATION. IT HAS WORKED WELL. WE ESPECIALLY LIKE THE EASY TO UNDERSTAND REMOTE. CAN'T BELIEVE WE HAVE A REMOTE FOR A TOILET SEAT, BUT THERE SEEMS TO BE ONE FOR EVERYTHING NOW! THE BACK WASH IS GREAT WARM AND JUST WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE. THE FRONT SPRAY SHOULD BE EXTENDED MORE FOR A WOMENS ANATOMY AS IT DOES NOT COME FORWARD ENOUGH UNLESS YOU LEAN FORWARD. THE WATER TEMPERATURE IS NICELY REGULATED AND DOES A GREAT JOB AT CLEANING. THE DRYING COULD EITHER LAST LONGER OR HAVE MORE AIR PRESSURE. JUST A LITTLE DAB WILL DO YOU THERE WITH PAPER.Rating
I LIKE THAT I NO LONGER HAVE TO USE BABY WIPES AND MISS THE BIDET WHEN NOT AT HOME, YOU GET USE TO BEING SPOILED AND CLEAN. (Posted on 4/6/2018)- Love it! Review by tward
Aesthetically looks great, cords out of sight on left side looking at it. Extremely comfortable seat - did not know I would like a warmer so much! Warm wash, terrific easy to use remote. This seat is a life-changer! The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the from nozzle does not reach far enough to clean the front area without moving and bending a bit. I am not sure any seat bidet can do that. Overall extremely pleased with quality, features, and aesthetics. I mean, the blue led glow in the water! (Posted on 2/22/2018)Rating - Great product well made Review by Ron
I purchased the 1400 model and was very surprised to find a plastic product being so well made. In this day of cheap material and labor it is refreshing to find a product that not only does exactly as it was engineered to do but it looks good, feels good and works well. Very easy to install, a great user manual and just a few hand tools to get it on the commode and doing what it should without the hassle of calling for assistance. When I got into this website I noticed the model I purchased had gone on sale just a week after I bought mine. I called BidetKing and inquired as to the possibility of getting a refund and lo and behold it wasn't anytime at all I saw my refund in PayPal. Can you beat that for customer service? My confidence in BidetKing skyrocked. Here is a company totally tuned to make sure you are satisfied. Congratulations! (Posted on 2/16/2018)Rating - Best money I've ever spent Review by Carla
This is our fourth bidet toilet seat, our third Swash 1400. We bought the first to help my 85-year old father-in-law with toileting, he lives with us, has dementia, limited mobility, and uses a walker. His Occupational Therapist suggested we look into a bidet seat and it was life-changing! We were so impressed with it that we bought one for our cabin in northern Michigan, where the toilet seats are ALWAYS cold! Fabulous! But after spending 10 days there, we found that we couldn't live without the bidet when we returned home, so we bought another. And another. Warm seats, night light, warm water, warm air, so clean . . . We've also bought one for my 86-year old mother. I really should work on commission, I can SELL these things! Here's what I tell people: when your kid comes in a muddy mess from playing in the rain, do you start wiping him down with paper towels? No! You put him in the shower and clean him up with running water. Point made.Rating
I love the endless supply of warm water, the various angles of the spray, and the great cleaning job it does. There's also a "deodorizing" button in case the bathroom doesn't smell like fresh flowers when you're finished. We are totally sold on these seats (Posted on 2/6/2018)- Personal Best Review by Nadine C
I've been loving my Brondell 1400. I previously had a Biffy and I love your product. I love the seat temperature, water temperature, and the different water pressures. The only thing I would suggest is to have the remote light up better, so you don't have to turn on the lights at night. All buttons should light up at night. But I still love it! (Posted on 1/30/2018)Rating - Very satisfied. Review by Casey
This is our third Bidet seat and have been very satisfied with our last two purchases. Our first purchase- although it works well- there is a discoloration on the seat. I wouldn't think that this seat would be porous that a stain would be possible (2 x 2 inch area)..Rating
Any suggestions on how to remove it or could there be a defect in the seat material from 5 years ago?
**BidetKing Response** Discoloration of the seat plastic usually occurs due to abrasive chemicals in typical bathroom cleaners like bleach, ammonia, and alcohol based cleaning agents. Be sure to use just warm water and mild soaps to clean glossy plastics like bidet seats.

I just purchased a Blondell Swash 1400 Bidet and it is one of the best things I’ve ever bought for myself. I thought the price was reasonable for all the options on it. I purchased this bidet for my brother, who is handicapped and cannot communicate. He always fought with his care staff during toileting. His dignity and privacy are very important to him, and he hates having people take care of him in the bathroom. What can I say, we installed the bidet and from the FIRST time he used it, he is a different person. He does not fight them, and has a huge smile on his face. What a GODSEND. He loves this bidet. I was initially worried that the power of the spray would make him angry, but his care staff adjusted the settings and it is perfect. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I wish that we had considered this sooner. We did extensive research on all bidets and chose this one because of the self cleaning function, the quality parts, the warranty, and the filter and air freshener functions. Not to mention all of the wonderful adjustments that can be made. I would highly recommend this bidet to anyone. (Posted on 12/11/2017)Rating - great product Review by Andre
If only more people had these. Just returned from a trip where I didn't have access to a bidet, and can't wait to get back to using one daily. The Brondell product is excellent, and works exactly as indicated in the ads and promotions. Especially as we age, this bidet helps to keep clean and freshened. After a lot of coarse toilet paper on the road, it will be good to use the Brondell bidet again. (Posted on 12/7/2017)Rating - I'm in love Review by Clean Tush
Just bought this about a month ago and I'm in love. We will never have a regular toilet seat ever again. I did tons of research after discovering the Toto washlet, but not wanting to spend about a thousand dollars, I found this model, which had all the same luxury features for less than half the price. I was skeptical at first, but as soon as we installed it (which was SO easy - we are not handy at all and it only took 20 minutes with their easy installation video on Brondell's site) I realized we had made the right choice and saved a ton of money. I love the warm seat on cold mornings, the water pressure is good (almost too good at the highest setting!) and fully adjustable to get it to your preference. It's so easy to work and makes going to the bathroom actually kind of fun. I though wiping would still be necessary, but I was wrong. This thing fully cleans so well that no toilet paper is needed at all, unless you want to manually dry the water off. I've already convinced some relatives to buy one because it will essentially pay for itself now that we don't need to buy those expensive sewer-clogging wipes anymore! It was a great purchase and so far, we love it. The blue nightlight is also very cool. 5 stars all the way. Highly recommend. (Posted on 12/6/2017)Rating - Scalding Hot Review by Bill
While the Brondell 1400 worked for about 2 months (just one user), about two weeks ago it began shooting scalding hot water, which required an immediate use of the STOP button. In fact the entire electronics seems to be malfunctioning. BidetKing.com referred me to Brondell, and I'm going through the process in which I HOPE they fix it. Requires dis-assembly and re-assembly, just more of a pain in the butt (pun intended). (Posted on 11/27/2017)Rating - Incredible! Review by Rico
The Brondell Swash 1400 I purchased recently has been one of the greatest home appliance purchases I have ever made in my 25+ years of home onwnership. The Swash has turned a daily event into a pleasurable ritual fit for a king (and queen). It has literally changed my life... the remote control with multiple settings, seat heater and an LED light are just a few of the many features. I would recommend this seat to everyone! Nice looking Bidet however there are a couple of problems.Rating
Firstly there isn't enough pressure to do the job. Secondly, and more important, is that no matter what heat level I set the water starts out at that level then after a few seconds turns scalding hot. I don't like to be burned so I leave the setting to no heat. The cold water is not very pleasant. My biggest disappointment is that I can't return it do to sanitation laws. What a great business where you can sell a defective product and not have to replace it.
I already own BioBidet which I really like but this Brondell is junk.

If you cannot access the toilet tank's fill valve (hidden behind the tank), then you'll need either the t-valve for skirted toilets or extension hose. The standard t-valve on the Swash 1400 goes directly under the toilet tank, but on skirted toilets this is difficult to access.

The ion and sediment filters serve the same purpose. They remove sand, sediment, rust and small particles from the water supply before it reaches your bidet seat. The ion filters are the upgraded version and also help sterilize the water.
You would only use one or the other, not both. They are recommended by all the factories, but not required.
Each filter has a lifespan of 6 months under normal use.

You would only use one or the other, not both. They are recommended by all the factories, but not required.
Each filter has a lifespan of 6 months under normal use.

You only need the cold water supply and an electrical outlet. The seat will do the rest!

Unfortunately not. The only models we have that will fit this toilet are the Alpha JX and Blooming NB-R1063.

The Brondell Swash 1400 electrical cord comes out on the left side when facing the toilet. Best place to put the outlet in order to hide the cord would be just under the toilet tank on that side.
