Donning a beautiful facelift and impressive new tech, the S7A is already making waves across the bidet seat world. So, what exactly are these new features included in the S7A? What are the differences between the S550e and the S7A? Continue reading to find out!

Taking the Best Bidet Seat Money Can Buy Into the Future:

Design

The TOTO Washlet S7A features a new, sleeker look that pairs beautifully with many modern toilet bowls. It is available in 2 lid designs; contemporary and classic. The new contemporary lid has a more rounded design and a seamless look that helps it match effortlessly with many modern toilet bowls. The classic lid style has a more beveled edge which helps it to blend in better with more traditional types of toilet bowls.

Along with an updated look on its lid designs, the S7A also boasts an impressively thin rear height; at just 4.1” at its thickest point, the S7A  is one of the slimmest bidet seats available on the market today.

TOTO was also able to incorporate a seamless design on the S7A that eliminates the dirt collecting gap that was prominent on the S550e.

A huge upgrade that is included with the S7A is its ability to be used on both traditional toilets and TOTO T20/T40 toilets. This was achieved by changing the location of the water hose and electrical cord which allows for the bidet seat to be installed on either type of toilet bowl.

The Washlet S7A is only available in an elongated size and is offered in two color variants; Cotton White and Sedona Beige.

The Washlet S7A also boasts a new horizontal style wireless remote control with larger function buttons. These larger function buttons are backlit for use in low light settings. The back of the remote also features buttons that allow users to control and fine tune their settings. Unfortunately, TOTO opted to exclude any LCD screen on their new remote. Although this will help in prolonging battery life, it has the downside of making changes to the advanced settings a bit more cumbersome.

Features

As with nearly all flagship bidet seat models, the TOTO Washlet S7A utilizes a tankless water heating system that grants users an unlimited supply of warm water. The warm water can be heated up to a toasty 104 degrees fahrenheit. Perfect for those cold winter days.

It has a sufficiently strong dual action aerated spray that can be used in either a front or rear wash cycle. Each cycle has two modes, soft or hard and can be used to further personalize one’s preferred bidet experience.

The built in warm air dryer is another standout feature on the Washlet S7A as it utilizes a stronger than average dryer compared to most other bidet seat’s mild strength dryers.

And of course no high end TOTO bidet is complete without its exclusive Ewater+ feature. This unique feature exclusive only to TOTO models uses Ewater+ to efficiently and effectively sanitize the nozzle and toilet bowl in between uses.

The Washlet S7A also keeps TOTO’s popular automatic open/close seat & lid function.

New Features and Tech

A new feature for the S7A is the ability to manually mist the toilet bowl with TOTOs exclusive Ewater+. This can be done by pressing a button on the back of the remote.

Users will also be able to utilize the S7A’s new ‘power deodorizer’ function. This industry first feature will allow the user to increase the fan strength of the built in deodorizer for more effective odor elimination. This will come in handy for those particularly smelly bathroom visits.

Another exciting feature new to the S7A is an upgrade to the automatic lid. The lid, paired with a compatible TOTO auto flush kit, can be programmed to automatically close before the toilet flushes. This will greatly improve your bathrooms overall hygiene as having the lid closed during the flushing process will reduce the amount of particulates being spread around.

Lastly, the Washlet S7A introduces an even more personalized way of using your bidet. The inclusion of more fine tuning adjustments will allow users to fine tune their settings to better suit their personal preferences. For instance, users can adjust the timing of the auto lid, program the LED nightlight to ‘night mode’, schedule a time for the power saving mode to activate, and much more.
