The Bio Bidet Prodigy P700 model does not have the automatic opening/closing lid feature.  The P770 model does have this feature, but is otherwise identical.

Prodigious Design

The Prodigy P700 is a sleek integrated unit that is comprised of a unibody bidet seat that sits tightly upon the skirted toilet base. The P700 has a  modern rectangular bowl/seat that provides a great aesthetic and even better functionality. With it’s rectangular designed bowl/seat, it provides roughly 30% more seating area that most bidet seats.

The toilet has a tankless design that gives a low profile design without losing any of the functionality. With a direct line to the water source, the P700 gives a stronger flush than tank-type toilets.

Touchless Dual Flush: The touchless flush gives the user a true hands free experience. The Prodigy P700 flushes upon rising from the toilet seat. 
Expanded Comfort Seat: The Prodigy’s seat is unique as it is designed for comfort by adding about 30 percent more seating area than conventional bidet seats.
