I was trying to install a non-electric bidet seat on a Kohler Persuade Curve - a skirted toilet. I had installed several of these before on different toilets that were not skirted or wrapped. When installed those bidet seats, I could access the toilet tank valve easily. In this case, I did not want to disassemble the toilet to get the valves so the 3/8" Compression Brass T-Valve and there was no way for me to reach the toilet valve without some disassembly of the toilet

I bought this valve to solve my problem. It worked perfectly. I installed the bidet fitting at the water stop or inlet instead of at the toilet by using this valve. This worked well. I am not sure I would have been able to do this installation without this valve so this was perfect. Great site. Helpful information and detail that made me confident I was buying the right thing for my home.
