The Brondell Swash 1000 is perfect for anyone from first-time bidet buyers, to advanced users looking for a top quality, fully featured bidet seat. The Swash 1000 fits virtually any toilet, including most 1 piece toilets without a french curve (see below for fitment guide). The Brondell Swash 1000's energy efficient tankless water heater is also more advanced than others on the market as it provides an endless supply of warm water without needing a dedicated electrical circuit - any standard GFCI 15amp outlet will do just fine. The Brondell Swash 1000 is covered by Brondell's 3 year manufacturer's limited warranty and the peace of mind of having its industry-best customer service behind you
To sterilize the stainless steel nozzles, press the Sterilize button on the remote control and a cleansing silver oxide nano particle water treatment begins. The cleansing spray will last for approximately 30 seconds. The silver oxide nano particle treatment system has powerful anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties to keep the nozzles clean and corrosion free.
Thanks to the Brondell Swash 1000's clear and easy to use remote control, it's a solid option for first time bidet users. It's durable, well built, and sturdy enough to handle 320lbs on both the seat and lid. For the last 5 years, the Swash 1000 has continued to be an extremely popular bidet seat garnering stellar reviews. Users appreciate its sleek design and luxury type features like endless warm water, stainless steel nozzles, and nozzle sterilization. Also, the Swash 1000 is one of the few bidet seat models that is available in a biscuit color in addition to the standard white.
If you're interested in a great quality bidet seat at a reasonable price, the Brondell Swash 1000 would be an excellent choice. The Swash 1000 may not be a great fit for you if you prefer a bidet seat with really strong spray pressure as this model is just average in terms of spray pressure.
Recently, Brondell released a newer Swash 1400 model that's a nice upgrade over this current Swash 1000. They made some improvements internally and also added some features like an LED nightlight, replaceable deodorizer cartridge, and a hidden pocket for the water inlet/power cord.

It has everything I wanted. Most folks are correct about the position of the nozzles though. You gotta move yourself around a bit for the front wash.
I am pleased.
Why can’t you increase the water temp before you start. I think my is broken and maybe sending it back for the money I spent. Would like a call back ASAP. THX!
It is second brondell 1000 bidet toilet, what i bought
The Swash toilet seat bidet has about a half inch difference between front and rear spray. The front spray works for my rear but I have to smush my ass into the back to get anywhere near the front of me. Anyone else?
After reading reviews in Consumer Reports, we decided to try the Swash 1000 in my wife's bathroom. The biggest challenge was installing a new GFI outlet in a convenient location so the unit could be connected. Since the bidet is rated at 1200 watts, it requires at least 10.25 amps, and most of the nearby circuits were close to capacity already (or could be if hair dryers were used at the same time). Most of the time my wife and I are the only ones here, but when our extended family visits our home population can jump from two to twenty. We also are considering adding additional Swash units in our other two bathrooms, and they will require separate circuits so we're not constantly experiencing overload issues.
The installation of the bidet itself was easy, quick, and trouble-free. We feel it's a luxury, and may well prove to be an essential. We're still learning how to use it most effectively, but so far are very pleased. We plan to install a Swash 1000 in an adjacent bathroom soon. My wife and I are both seniors (80+), so we replaced our toilets with taller ones some time ago, to make getting up and down easier. There was no problem installing the bidet on the higher toilet. We needed the oval design for my wife's toilet, but the other toilet will require a round one. I plan to post another review after installing that one and after some months of use.
My only concerns at the moment are learning the operation, and how to instruct guests on it's use without embarrasment. A set of simplified user instructions would be most appreciated, especially if printed on waterproof card stock, large type, with pictures. I'm particularly concerned about our youngest grandchildren when they're here, and plan to ask their parents to supervise for first-time users.
