Glad I didn't need a new Bidet

Thrilled to find out I can swap seat and lid. The process may be too intimidating for some. But I thought it was pretty easy. You do have to open up the bidet and expose all it's components etc...

No instructions!

My only complaint is there are no instructions for how to replace the seat and cover. The video and instructions on this page are for how to install the entire bidet not just replace the seat and cover. No instructions came with the replacement seat and cover.

My third seat

These seats crack after a while. This is my third replacement. I hope this one lasts much longer.

Seat upgrade from round to elongated

We were very happy with our round Alpha iX Hybrid bidet but we decided to upgrade to a new elongated Toto toilet in our guest bathroom. I thought I would need to purchase a whole new bidet but after contacting customer service I found out that I could just swap out the seat for a new elongated model. After receiving the seat replacement I did a bit of searching on the Internet and found a video that steps you through the replacement. Just in case, I took a couple of photos of were all the connections plug in but I found out that all of the connections are different and the connectors only fit their appropriate sockets. The upgrade was simple and straight forward and it took me about 30 minutes from removal to final install back on the new toilet.
