1. What is a bidet seat?
A bidet seat is an electronic hygiene device that replaces your toilet seat and attaches to your existing toilet bowl. A bidet seat's main function is to wash your rear with a warm stream of water. Cleaning with water is easier, more effective, and more hygienic than simply wiping with toilet paper.

2. What can bidet seats do?
Bidet seats provide a number of useful functions, including: rear wash, front feminine wash, heated seat, warm air dryer, and deodorizer — and much more. They are controlled by either an attached side control panel or a wall-mounted wireless remote control.

3. How do bidet seats work?
At the press of a button, a wash nozzle (about the size of a marker) will extend out and spray a well-aimed stream of aerated warm water toward your rear. Press the stop button after you are done washing, and the nozzle will retract back into its housing. Before and after each wash, the bidet seat automatically rinses the nozzle so the only thing that touches you is clean, fresh water.

4. What are the benefits of using a bidet seat?
Washing yourself with warm water instead of wiping with toilet paper will leave you with a clean, refreshed feeling after using the toilet. Bidet seats are great for anybody wanting to improve hygiene, reduce toilet paper use, or simply be ahead of the curve. Bidet seats can also restore toileting independence for the elderly, handicapped, or disabled, and anyone else suffering from a condition that limits their ability to clean themselves (ALS, Parkinson's, RA, MS, etc.).

5. How do you install a bidet seat?
Bidet seats attach to the top of your existing toilet bowl in place of your current toilet seat — they only need a single cold water connection from the supply line already going to your toilet tank. No complicated plumbing involved. The bidet seat then needs to be plugged into a standard GFCI electrical outlet. The entire installation typically takes 30–40 minutes.
