The complication of using the sediment filter included by Bidet King, makes the piping arrangement awkward. It works but it looks like a Rube Goldberg arrangement than quality elegant installation that it should. The seat end overhangs the bowl by about and inch, and on the inside, the bowl rim is about an inch an a half short of where the inside edge of the toilet seat ends. So I would say it does not really fit a small round toilet even though it can be installed. The electrical cord is so short it won't reach a counter height outlet on the opposite side from where it exits the bidet seat. "About 15 months ago I had purchased a COCO bidet seat from bidetking.com. I absolutely loved it until it slowly quit working. Coming back to this site, I see that they no longer sell the COCO bidet seats and I am guessing that it may have something to do with the fact that they quit functioning shortly after the warranty expires which speaks volumes for BidetKing. This model has a 3-year warranty so on a year-to-year basis, it is actually LESS expensive to purchase this bidet seat over other brands and that is if the bidet stops functioning after the warranty runs out.Rating
Another awesome feature on this particular bidet is the wide spray option and anybody who has had their gallbladder removed will truly appreciate this feature as will anybody who has ""reactive"" food issues if you get my drift.
I ordered this bidet and received it within a week of my order date which I thought was pretty darned good.
Additionally, I was talking to a friend's mother who lives in Japan where they swear by the TOTO products and the Brondell Swash 1000 is almost identical in features for a fraction of the price! If you check out any videos from TOTO, you will notice that they are almost identical!
I am now considering the purchase of at least one more for one other bathroom in my house! (We have four bathrooms so the savings in toilet paper along with the cleanliness factor make these products fabulous in my book.)

How did I ever get by withoiut yoou. After a long day I get to come home to you. Bought this for my birthday and it is the best present I have have ever got. It is pure bliss. Something I should have had in my life years ago. What a clean add on during the day. Not to hard puttiing in. Then it was like the heavens opened. Hope my family will stay away from my new personal cleaner. They seem to be afraid of it now. But whit they will figure it oout. Should you get one? It will change your life. I have now bought 9 of these. Seven for me and two for my mom. Between the two of us we have a ridiculous number of bathrooms! I love the intuitive controls, the ability to control water pressure and temperature and of course the seat temperature. I purchased the Swash 1000 about five weeks ago and really like it. My main motivation for purchasing a bidet was so that I could use it as a Sitz bath. I have recurring pain due to an anal fissure which causes the muscles of the anus to spasm. I use the wide spray and oscillation at maximum water temperature to gently massage that area for about five to ten minutes. I find it helps to temporarily reduce the pain by relaxing the muscles. This type of injury takes time to heal so I use this therapy several times a day in conjunction with pain medication and daily intake of Benefiber. My only complaint is that I have to press the Rear remote button continually for extended rinses longer than a minute. I wish there were a way to set the bidet to rinse continually for much longer periods than one minute, without having to press the Rear button every 59 seconds. "I purchased the Swash 1000 about 6 weeks ago. I am pleased with the heated seat function, which was my main motivator for the purchase. The bidet function works as advertised and the adjustable spray width, temperature, and force allow the user to customize the wash to his/her preference. The fan does an adequate job drying skin, but not other areas. The seat has a silent function, so that other than flowing water and blowing fan, there is no other noise. The ""eco mode"" turns the seat temperature down to the lowest seating if the seat is unoccupied for more than 10 minutes, but there is no timer function. This is not an issue because even the lowest seat temp keeps the seat from being cold when you first sit down and it warms up rapidly.Rating
When the spray starts, the first water out is cool, but only for a second--just be prepared!
I do wish that the water hose was ""biscuit"" color to match the seat. Instead, it is white, which is not visually appealing (and I paid extra for the ""biscuit"" color seat).

Received my Brondell 1000 a few weeks ago. This is one of the greatest products I have ever purchsed and works great. My friends laughed like heck when I told them about it, but, a couple of them have come over and used it and they were sold. It works better than advertised and the quality is great. Was easy to install. I decided to replace the innards of the toilet at the same time. Attached a filter to the line as well. Basically, you will find yourself looking forward to being Swashed...lol. "This is a great product. I bought it for my parents for Christmas, they always wanted a 'real' bidet having lived in both Europe and Japan. They are very happy with this surprise. Because my elderly parents are very thin they would benefit by a cushioned seat. Is there any way the company could design a washable seat made from memory foam or similiar material? This would be a great option for a lot of people.Rating

We love this product! It functions just as advertised. I was told that these are loud, but we found this brand to be quite quiet. It was easy to instal and very easy to use immediately. We would highly recommend this product. We called to purchase it from BidetKing and found the sales man to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Don't know why we didn't buy one earlies. I called their customer service line and Michelle recommended this seat over others as their top of the line model. I used to have a Swash 800 before we moved and my complaint with that model was that I didn't like the nozzles. I didn't think they cleaned very well. Michelle said this seat has a wide spray function which I found very useful and my wife likes the fact that she can sit on the lid and do her makeup. The Swash 1000 is one of our top-of-the-line models. It has great build quality and is the best seat you can buy for under $600.
The Clean Sense dib-1500R is our favorite value brand and is a solid performer for under $400.
While the Clean Sense dib-1500R actually has more features than the Brondell Swash 1000, the overall quality of the unit is one notch lower. The Swash 1000 uses superior materials like stainless steel wash nozzles vs plastic, a strong sittable lid, and more advanced internal components. While both models are reliable with a less than 1% first year failure rate, the Swash 1000 is built more solidly - hence the higher price tag.
Q: Please explain Sediment Filter and Ion Filter. Does Bidet require both? Do they come with initial purchase? How often should they be changed?

A: Hi Jerry,
- The sediment and ion filters both serve the same purpose of removing sand, sediment, and small particles from the water supply before they reach your bidet seat. The filters also help prevent calcium and hard water deposits from building up inside the bidet seat. The ion filter has an additional sterilizing property.
- You would only need to use 1 filter at a time. They are recommended as preventative maintenance for your bidet seat, but they are not required for use.
- The Swash 1000 comes with 2 free sediment filters.
- Each filter has a lifespan of 6 months - you should either replace it or remove it completely after 6 months.
Q: What is the biggest difference between the Brondell Swash 1000 & the Bio Bidet BB-1000?

A: Other than the sturdy lid (the only one of it's kind), the Brondell Swash 1000 has continuous warm water while the Bio Bidet BB-1000 carries instant warm water for only around 30 seconds.
BB-1000 Advantage: best water pressure out of all the bidets we carry.
Q: Can you sit on top of the lid?

A: Yes, the Brondell Swash bidet seats are the only seats on the market that allow you to sit on top of the lid. In fact, they are rated to support up to 320lbs. Very sturdy construction.
