Clean Sense dib-1500R Bidet Seat w/ Remote
- Product Review (submitted on October 2, 2013):
- I purchased this bidet about 3 years ago, and my husband and I (now) couldn't live without a bidet. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to be made very well. If I could go back in time, I would have purchased a higher quality bidet, like the Bio Bidet (I referred a friend of ours to Bidet King and she ended up getting the Bio Bidet... when I used hers, it seemed to be better-engineered). Within just a month or two, the remote broke. We had to send it back (Bio Bidet was good about replacing it, as our bidet was still under warranty). But even the new remote has had problems. It cuts out and goes haywire every once in a while. A few times we've had to stop the bidet with the stop button on the side of the seat. And about 2 years in (about a year ago), the unit started going on the fritz such that the heated seat short circuits or something and gets practically burning hot (I like it that hot, but my husband says it burns his butt). It does this now all the time (within 10-30 minutes of being plugged in), so we have to keep the unit unplugged. When it does this, the light flashes red. It's a bit of a pain, because we have to keep the unit unplugged, and only plug it in when we're going to use it. Maybe we just got a lemon, but I wish I had bought a brand of higher quality.
