    Hi Alice,

The Clean Sense dib-1500R will have a brief 1 second lag of room temp water.  For instant warm water you'll want tank type or hybrid type water heating units like the Bio Bidet BB-2000, BB-1000, or A8.

    Hello,

Yes the Clean Sense dib-1500R bidet toilet seat has an air gap backflow prevention measure.  It does not have a separate dedicated backflow prevention valve but you can add one to the supply one if you need it.

    Thank you

    Hi Tom,

Your issue with the Clean Sense bidet seat is likely due to your legs being lifted off of the seat sensor.  The sensor is located around the 4-5 o'clock area of the toilet seat when facing the toilet. You can place a damp paper towel over this part of the seat to trick the sensor.

    Thanks!

    Hi Caleb,

The Clean Sense dib-1500R bidet can be removed from the mounting bracket by pressing the seat release button on the side of the seat.  The seat release is located near the power cord on the right hand side of the seat (when facing the toilet).  It is an off-white plastic tab.  Press it in firmly and then slide the seat forward to remove it from the bracket.

Let us know if you have anymore questions.

    Thanks,

    James

    Hi Chris,

On the Clean Sense dib-1500R bidet seat, you put the nozzle into manual cleaning mode by locating the emergency side control panel near the water supply inlet.  Then press and hold the rear wash button (the middle one) for 5 seconds.  The nozzle will then come out for manual cleaning.

Once you're done, press the stop button the and nozzle will retract.

    Thank you!

    Hi Michael,

Performance wise, both sizes will work the same. The only real issue is fitment and appearance.  If you put an elongated sized Clean Sense dib-1500R bidet seat on a round toilet, the front of the seat will hang over the front edge of your toilet bowl by about 1.5-2".

You may find this arrangement to be uncomfortable, or you may find it to work just fine, it really depends on your own personal preferences.  In either case, give us a call if you want to discuss your options for exchange.

    Thanks!

    Hi Pam,

The Clean Sense dib-1500R is 110V for the US market.  The user manual you downloaded may have referenced a 220V version, but the one you purchased is 110V. Be sure to tell your electrician to install a standard 110V GFCI outlet.

You won't need any special tools for installation.  The 7/8" t-valve supplied with the bidet seat goes underneath your toilet tank and you shouldn't need the spare nut.  Please familiarize yourself with the installation process by watching the video here: http://bidetking.com/how-to-install-a-bidet-seat

    Hi Jim,

Unfortunately the Clean Sense bidet will not work with a Kohler San Raphael due to the french curve design of the toilet.  The two models that will work with that toilet are the ALPHA JX and Blooming NB-R1063.

    Hi Tom,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you are having with your Clean Sense Dib-1500R bidet seat.  The issue you're describing is one we come across once a year or so and can be attributed to certain bathroom setups where the signal from the remote control just can't bounce properly off walls and reach the receiver on the right side of the bidet seat (when seated).

As a test, while seated, please try using the remote control on the right side of your body, noting that the receiver is behind your right elbow.  The remote control should be able to communicate with the seat.  If not, please contact us as there may be an issue with the remote itself.

Unfortunately, there's no real "fix" for this issue because it's caused by certain setup bathroom setups and not something we can adjust/fix due to defect.  In some bathrooms, the signal just can't get the right bounce off of walls.  The solution is to mount the remote on your right hand side while seated and try to get a clearer line of site to the receiver.

Please contact us if you need additional explanation or have any questions.

    Thank you,

    Hi Sharon,

Generally speaking, no, water should definitely not be splashing out the sides from the bidet seat and toilet.  The water stream is pretty focused and narrow so under normal conditions, no water should splash out at all.  Also, bidets like the Clean Sense have a 'splash guard' which protects water from being splashed out of the front.

Let us know if you have anymore questions.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Yes, the Clean Sense dib-1500R will fit the Kohler Santa Rosa 1 piece toilets.  The Kohler Santa Rosa is a compact elongated toilet, so it's a little bit shorter than traditional elongated toilets.  While the bidet seats will fit and function just fine, it may hang over the front edge of the toilet bowl by .5-.75".

    Thank you,

    Hi Dave,

For heavy or bariatric users we would recommend going with the Bio Bidet BB-2000 or BB-1000 for their sturdy seats and high water pressure abilities.

    Hi John,

When bidet seats have a constant drip from the nozzle area, the most common culprit is a mounting issue.  If the bidet seat is not fully locked into its mounting bracket, it will drain water from the base of the nozzle.

To test, slide the bidet off of its mounting bracket by locatin the seat release tab near the electrical cord.  With the bidet completely separated from the bracket, see if the leak persists.  If so, call us for additional troublshooting or service.  If the leak stops, re-mount the bidet on the bracket and make sure it locks all the way.

Let us know if you have anymore questions!

    Hello Dr. Mangone,

This is the first time we've heard that and we're very skeptical of what your contractor is saying.  Especially with a 2 piece ADA style toilet, the round size bidet should still fit just fine.  An example would be the American Standard Cadet Pro Right Height.

We have not heard of any industry wide changes to the round style toilet, just make sure you stick with a 2 piece, non-skirted toilet and your bidet seat will fit no problem.

If your contractor has any questions they can contact us directly.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Yes it is possible but it would need to be a specific type of riser to ensure compatbility.  Please check our bidet accessories category for more details.
