This bidet works great! Review by Leenie
It has a good amount of features that help my mom out who has M.S. and is basically a quadriplegic.
We've figured out the functions of this bidet to suit her needs and keep her hygienically clean.
We are very happy with this bidet and it gets lots of use, therefore it is well made and durable.
I highly recommend this bidet. (Posted on 8/4/16)

leaks - even after repair Review by Leslie
I purchased the unit from BidetKing in October in preparation for some wrist surgery I had this past week. Unfortunately the unit I got had a leak, you only got heated water if you used the seat before it all drained out. Getting hit with a cold blast of water isn't what I paid for. After contacting customer service they had me work directly with BioBidet. After doing a factory reset on the unit and verifying it still leaked they had me send it in for repair. This cost me over $40 for shipping -- insult on top of having a defective unit which requires un-installing and re-installing the old seat (thank goodness I didn't throw it out). Two and a half weeks later it came back from BBC. Unfortunately I had surgery before it was returned to me. I did manage to get it installed. BUT --- IT STILL LEAKS. It doesn't squirt cold water this time. You can see it dripping into the bowl and you can hear it refilling about every 20 minutes.
I'm tempted to leave as is. If I had to hire a plumber to install and re-install I'm sure to would be a couple hundred to un-install / reinstall and another $40 for shipping - and no guarantee of having a unit that works correctly. (Posted on 10/31/15)
Cheap plastic, cracks and disclors Review by elieb
We have been using the Bio Bidet for about five years and were pleased with its performance. We recently purchased two new ones and were very disappointed. One of the units the seat cracked after less than a year and the other one had a mechanical problem from the get go. The manufacturer offers limited warranty and poor service. The company is hard to reach and will not do an exchange. Also, the two older units have changed color and turned yellowish. I would not buy a Bio Bidet again, i prefer to invest a couple hundred dollars more and buy a quality unit that will last in looks and durability. (Posted on 9/27/15)
good but could be great Review by rock-n-sher
We have used our BB-1000 for 7 years with little need for tuning and tweaking. Weventually purchased another for the second bath and one for mom. Everyone seems to love it. My issue is with the crappy plastic used to make the seat and housing. Starting year 3 or 4 the plastic became brittle and we eventually needed to replace the seat. The seats hidden cracks would spread when you sat on it - then it would bite you on the ass. This is now even more troublesome as the brittle plastic is literally splintering, often totally exposing the mechanics of the unit. How can BIO BIDET refuse to warranty this type of defect? All the mechanics are in place, the unit works hummingly, and the cheap plastic is causing us to throw this perfectly good unit in a landfill causing us to have to spend $500 for another. Shame on you BIO BIDET .....the BB-1000 should have a higher standard. (Posted on 6/2/15)
Never Felt Cleaner! Review by TJR
We've owned this model for at least two, maybe three years now. I don't know how I ever did without a bidet! The remote control is mounted on the wall within easy reach so no twisting or turning necessary to reach the controls. I only wish we could afford to add a bidet to ever bathroom.
When we were ordering the unit, we called and spoke with one of the very knowledgeable salesman who assisted us in making a final choice of make and model to suit our needs. He made certain we had measured correctly to get the correct size of bidet. He was excellent!
We discovered we didn't have the correct water attachment on the wall by the toilet. We did have to pay a plumber to come out and replace the water outlet on the wall by the toilet to attach the water correctly to the bidet unit. After that, my husband had no issues setting up the bidet.
The only thing of critique I can say about it is once in a while the controls get "confused," and doesn't accept the (wireless) controls when I push a button on the control pad. It just takes a reset by unplugging and replugging in the unit, pressing the STOP on the control panel. It works just fine again. No big deal.
No regrets, only praise for this purchase and wonder why we didn't do it much sooner! (Posted on 10/29/14)
Happy Dance 2 Review by KT
I reviewed our purchase of this 2 months afterwards. It's now been 6 months and I have a bit more experience with it.
It's still functioning perfectly - we did have an odd burp with it for a time. I would come into the restroom and see the power light flashing. When used, the water would be cold. I called the company and they suggested we power cycle it. I did and while it did happen one more time after that, that was it. It now works perfectly again. I'd like to note that we also live in the mountains, so brownouts and flickering power aren't uncommon and it's entirely possible this was the cause.
The next thing is I have come to regret getting a unit that you can't sit on the top of the lid. I don't know why it was necessary for them to do it this way, but I don't care for it. It's not a deal breaker for us, but it is inconvenient.
And the last issue I've come to notice is that for some reason the seat itself has a seam all along the inside and outside. Unless you pay good attention to how you clean it, splashes can build up. Since I noticed and have adjusted the way I clean it, it's not a problem, BUT it was still not a great fabrication decision, imo.
In summary, we still absolutely love it. It's TONS better to have a seat on the normal toilet than it is to have a separate, 2nd appliance in the bathroom. You don't have to "clean up" enough to make it over to the 2nd appliance and not worry about *ahem* drippage or such. You don't have to have a huge bathroom in order to have room for a separate appliance, and of course you don't have an additional large appliance you have to clean. Big huge plusses, imo.
Having a unit with a remote control is also a major, huge plus. If you have this type of product because of body size or medical needs, the remote control is fantastic. It does have a couple of basic on/off buttons on the side of the unit itself for emergency, as in the batteries die suddenly or perhaps a child damages the remote, and those 2 buttons are easy to remember and reach if needed.
So I continue my happy dance at having this product, and hope my info helps you decide on the right choice for you. (Posted on 10/26/14)
Wish I'd ordered it years ago! Review by AnnS
I became aware of Bidet seats about 5 years ago when a girlfriend had recently remodeled her bathroom. She insisted that I try her bidet seat because she was very enthusiastic about this method of hygiene. I was impressed but I guess not enough to do the research and make the purchase. A month or so ago I decided I was going to read up about these. I found bidetking.com and it seemed like the Bio Bidet 1000 got rave reviews. I was so impressed by what others were saying. It seems like consumers of these are so devoted.
Bidetking.com answered all my questions over the phone. I had my seat within a few days. Great service from them! My husband is very handy. He ran the electrical but hates plumbing. He had a plumber friend do the installation.
I am still learning the features. I find I have to squirm around a bit for the water to reach completely. The oscillating feature is great. The drying is very good too. It is still very warm in my climate, but I think I will love the heated seat on our rare cold days. I never want to be without the Bio Bidet 1000 and won't unless traveling.
I can see where these would be wonderful for premenopause women and women who have recently given birth. Wish I'd had it back in those days. My husband is reluctant to try it, but once I convince him to I think he will be hooked and order one for his bathroom.
Thank you bidetking.com and Bio Bidet! I am a believer now! (Posted on 9/23/14)

The best Bidet I've owned. Review by courtland
My late mother (died in 2006 from COPD) almost died from a obstructed bowel in 2003, my dad was getting her these enema things, but sitting or staying in bed most of the time, and her poor diet was making her constipated. Which is about the time my dad started trying out Bidets. Now the only thing I knew about a Bidet was the one I’d seen in the movie Crocodile Dundee. It was about an Australian crock hunter who visited the Big Apple to help fill out a human interest story, and because he was interested in the female reporter. Setting up in a fancy hotel he discovered what looked like two toilets, but managed to reason it out that one was for washing your backside, after you did your business in the standard model.
This of course was a European style Bidet and though more permanent a fixture, a lot less flexible than the modern toilet seat conversions found more frequently in some Asian countries. The first Bidet my dad got was a cheap model that had something akin to a faucet, open the faucet and the water sprayed out at whatever the base pressure of your running water. It was cold too, but surprisingly I really liked using it cold water and all. I was heavy set like my dad, and had to use an appliance to reach to wipe when doing my business on the toilet, so something that would clean like this was very welcome.
I bought my Dad a much better Bidet for Christmas in 2004, a Hitachi model that was the only one guaranteed for two years at the time. Now warranties are a mixed blessing, getting satisfaction on them is not often easy on a product like this, and the 2 year term could mean they are offering it because of a past bad reputation. The Hitachi seemed to offer the warranty to stimulate sales, but it was indeed a very good performer. In fact, that lasted in regular use 10 years, and still going until recently when I had it replaced with the BioBidet 1000 from Bidet King.
Something else about the need for Bidets, my sister has had bowel obstructions like my mom that sent her to the hospital. My brother has a hernia that he got from straining too hard to have a bowel movement, and myself, I had bouts of terrible pains in the intestines. I had profuse sweats, and nearly passed out from the pain because of constipation, caused by dehydration, and inactivity. The difference is now that I’ve been using a Bidet for years, I’ve never had another incident like that. The solution to that used to be laxatives, or drinking a ton of fluids, to clear the pipes so to speak. That brings us to the something else I spoke of in the beginning of this paragraph. The enema function, a Bidet can force water up the lower intestine through the anus enough, to have it loosen and evacuate most of any hard- packed obstructions. The BioBidet is somewhat special in this regard; it has a Vortex function that can almost launch you into orbit. It is many times stronger (the pump) than the old Hitachi I just took out of service. In fact, on level 2 of 5 you get more pressure than the Hitachi had on full, and you still have 3 levels to go! In addition, there are functions for standard wash and dry, for a feminine wash, to adjust the water, seat, and drying air temperatures, and all on a convenient remote panel. Plus don’t let me forget the massage, the pulse, and the move functions for the control of the water jets.
My old Hitachi had the controls on the side, but the BioBidet 1000 model has the seat open just like a regular toilet seat, so you can actually see what you’re selecting without craning your neck sideways. Still, there is another important function that helps me occasionally, but would certainly help those who suffer from Crohn’s disease, or irritable bowel syndrome. Most all of us have experienced bouts of diarrhea we could not control, either a flu bug, or bad food or water can cause the system to get out of sorts. We all remember what happens after about the 5th or 6th trip to the john. Wiping becomes irritated, the softest Charmin tissue feels like sandpaper, and sometimes even bleeds. Not so with a Bidet, you can wash your backside 50 times or more with a gentle jet of water, and you’ll likely experience no more than a tickle on the skin. I only benefit from this once and a while like I said, but those with some diseases that irritate the bowel or constrict the intestines, may have this very frequently during the year, so a Bidet can save them a lot of grief.
About installation, if you’re handy you can do this yourself in about an hour, there’s a chance you may need an adaptor, but the common connections and adapters come with the unit. You simply turn off the water feed with the valve control, usually near the floor that connects the water feed hose to the toilet tank. Flush the toilet to avoid too much water, then, remove the existing seat. Install the connect plate to the rear of the bowl where the old seat connected. Tighten it down, put the “T” connector in the water line so you feed both the tank and the Bidet, connect the hoses and water filter, and turn back on the water to inspect for leaks. The seat just slides right on and locks into place. FYI you do need a dedicated power outlet to plug this into, this may be more of an expense if you don’t have one nearby, you’ll need to have one installed. If the leak check is fine, then plug in and turn on the Bidet with the remote, after a little air is purged you’re ready to go.
I bought my first BioBidet 1000 two years ago in for an apartment in Naperville, IL where I was staying during the weekdays. I transferred that one to my basements half bath when I left my contract position in Naperville. I was happy enough with six months of good service, that I bought a second one recently in the elongated design, for my personal toilet at home. It works just as good as the first. The BioBidet has some kind of sensor, that tells the control you are sitting in it. It does worry me slightly that I can’t find a back-up for this, but it is at least more reliable than the Hitachi, it had a pressure switch that broke in a few months of use, but there was a two button press override that provided a backup function. While it no longer auto detected you, you could still use the controls, you just had to take care not to use them when not sitting down.
I have to give the BioBidet 1000 five stars my highest rating for now because it lacks for very little I can think of, and is even better than the Bidet I’ve loved and used for 10 years. It’s priced very reasonable, and I’m surprised these things have not become more mainstream. One more little note about this Bidet you’ll surely like, if you’re in a family of four or five. While, this might take some convincing for the spouse and the kids, you no longer will get those brown tracks found in white underwear. Plus, a family of even 4 may use a roll of toilet paper a day, and at today’s prices that’s 365 dollars a year at a buck a roll. That savings is almost enough to pay for the Bidet. One thing I’ve not tried, but did think of is that with the adjustable pressure and temperature of this thing, you might be able to clean up after babies as well. Just get a seat adapter, test the water temp and pressure, and sit lay them back over the hole in the seat adapter. If you’re touching the seat the water will start and you’ll save a lot on baby wipes!

BB-1000 Best thing that ever happened to my butt Review by CreoleCajunDawg
Aside from the flimsy top this is one of the best thing that I have ever purchased for myself. It works beautifully and is very soothing. It has a setting for everybody. I would not do without it. However, I do agree with Bucky about not being able to sit on the top. What I do is raise the top and sit on the toilet seat to do whatever I want aside from actually using it. I do think that a harder top would be welcomed by more customers, especially since it is not a functioning part of the BB-1000 mechanism. Many of us have gotten in the habit of using the top as a chair to sit on. I have purchased 2 more as gifts for my sister and a friend. (Posted on 1/4/14)
Cheap plastic seat cover Review by bucky
Wife wants old seat back. Cheap top prevents sitting on it. Only seat in room now unusable for getting dressed. Non-returnable as water was turned on, so out $500 bucks and unhappy wife..... Looking at the returnable Brondell with sitable seat now. $100 more but functional as a seat when not in use. (Posted on 10/14/13)

Purchased 3 weeks ago to replace a competitors bidet. what a day and night difference. so much better quality. the remote is better quality. and all has a 5 yr warranty. hopefully I will never need to use it. but I have no complaints, only compliments. (Posted on 10/3/13)
Very good but not perfect Review by RB
This bidet works really well but I have a few complaints which may not bother other people. 1) The warm water only lasts 20-30 seconds. 2) The posterior wash cycle has a time limit. I believe it's less than 2 minutes. Sometimes I would like it to be longer to feel cleaner but there is no way to adjust it. You have to press the button again and sometimes it would only run for a few seconds the second time then you would press it again and it would run longer (this is kinda unpredictable if the succeeding cycles are short or long). 3) Lastly, the bidet actually made the lights in my bathroom flicker for about a minute every 10 to 15 minutes. I called the company and was told that this is a common issue and it's from the water heater cycling on and off. The only solution is to hire an electrician to get a dedicated electrical circuit for the bidet (which I bet will cost a lot) or to turn the water heater off. The flickering lights bothered me a lot so I just ended up turning the heater off. If these are non-issues for you, then I would say it's an excellent bidet and would give it 5 stars. Everyone should have one! Review by Survivor
I bought this for my adult son, a TBI Survivor, who has limited dexterity. He loves the independence it has provided him, and after I tried it once, I made my mind up that I need to get one too. I think everyone should have one. We had a different brand previously that had to be replaced, and then would operate in only 20 minute bursts. This Bio-Bidet is perfect! (Posted on 10/2/13)
Happy dance! Review by KT
I came over to the web site to get a link for my in-laws, who now want one after all the bragging we've done. I realized I hadn't left a review, so I looked up when we bought ours and found out it was only 2 months ago...I was totally shocked, because it felt like it's been part of our household for ages.
We started with a short, heavy duty extension cord, til we decided if we were keeping it, but I think it was perhaps 3 uses before hubby put in an outlet for it.
This is a great tool for large persons or those with movement or flexibility issues. My husband's bad back can sometimes make certain things problematic, and I'm not a small woman so this has been wonderful for us both. He wasn't interested at first, but after a couple uses, he dove right in (so to speak ;)
We've had no issues with it, performance wise. Having a unit with a separate, wireless remote was key for us, and it was great to find a unit with such great pressure (and variations when needed) and features plus the remote, all for such a reasonable price.
This is a great unit to shoot for, for first-timers. The features are all that could be asked for and will cover a large percent of needs and circumstances. For the price, you really can't get better!
If you've been thinking about it, now's the time to DO it! (great videos and info on this web site as well, to help your research) (Posted on 7/11/13)
CANT IMAGINE LIVING WITHOUT THIS Review by lovethisbidet
a bidet! what a luxury. obsessed abt buying on for a long time, until i just went for it. i read a lot, and i mean A LOT, of reviews on bidets and models, and which were rated the highest. i settled on this one, purely on reviews and videos alone.
its really the best bidet for the price. i LOVE it. often when i am not at home or away, i always wish someone had it in their home or at the hotel. the remote control is a big feature why i bought this model over the others. its fantastic! the pressure is amazing, the quality is amazing, the pressure is amazing, and the setup was easy!
DO NOT HESITATE! there are also tons of videos on youtube, so check them out to see for yourself.

Does The Job Nicely For A Very Large Person Review by mcl1947
First of all I’m a very, very, very, large person. I had E-mailed Bidetking about that and the BB-1000 was one they recommended. The BB-1000 is also the one I had been looking at before e-mailing them.
I had downloaded the instructions for it and noticed there was no weight limit specified. Well let me say it doesn’t seem to have any problem with me and my weight. I’m also handicapped. I have extensive stenosis in my lower back and bone on bone arthritis in my knees. The stenosis has causes neuropathy in my legs. My feet are numb. In fact I have gone to using hand controls in my van. What originally caught my eye about the BB-1000 was how strong its max pressure was supposed to be. The concern Bidetking had about my size was that (this could get TMI) my weight could pinch things together making it tough for the bidet to do its job. Well, let me say the BB-1000 does the job very well. Of course I’ve found as I’ve used it (had it about a month) you learn to maximize it and yourself for best results (no I will not get more specific on that).
On the negative side:
The seat lid is not made to support any significant weight. It says not to sit on it. I have avoided sitting on toilet seat lids for years being afraid I could break them. My wife however has had to change her bathroom habits a little because of that restriction.
We have the oval design on an oval “comfort seat” height (think it 17”) type toilet. I actually measured the opening front to back on the old seat and the BB-1000. It’s about the same. Very close. As large as I am it seems restrictive. The problem is mainly that there a lot of stuff in back stopping one from shifting back a little. It can be a little restrictive for a man my size.
I could care less about a heated toilet seat. I haven’t used one in 65 years why should I care about a heated seat now. As for the heated water I have it set on max. It barely lasts one whole cycle when I have the pressure set on max (which is always) and let it go till it times out. One those really extreme situations where I feel I need to do things more than once it’s cold. This time of the year, May, it’s not a problem. In maybe January when the water coming into the house is a lot cooler I don’t know if I’ll have the same opinion.
I get the impression that Bio Bidet has been making this exact same model for a while now. Surprised there isn’t a BB-1001 or whatever yet. DON’T take away anything but I would think by now they could have “tweaked” something.

The Cadillac of Bidets! Review by grateful1
I had to undergo some bowel surgery in my past that has unfortunately left me problematic bowels that keeps me glued to a toilet for hours a day. It has been a long joinery finding ways to mange for sure. I must say that this Bio Bidet 1000 came highly recommended to me by a friend and it has been a literal Godsend for me and changed my life and made it soooooo much more manageable! It got me off my pain medications that i had been on for over 1 1/2 years from excessive wiping that caused the worst anal nerve pain you cannot even imagine. I am using 1/16 the amount of toilet paper that i had been REALLY! and i love saving trees so that works for me. The enema feature has been so so helpful in that when you have to take certain medications one of the many side effects can be bad constipation. what would take me hours of trying to reverse with laxatives, prune juice, drinking salt water etc this enema feature has a very strong powerful jet that just releases what needs to come out right away. it's amazingTHANK GOD! but then remember i said very problematic bowels, well i also have the opposite problem with massive ongoing chronic diarrhea and I tell you the burning, diaper rashes, bleeding bottom, the huge amount of money i was spending on toilet paper and creams and healing ointments, i made up the money in probably two weeks of using this Bidet and saving sooooooooo much money on all that other stuff but not only that it has totally stopped all my burning, bleeding, raw diaper rashes. The warm toilet seat is awesome in the winter and i love that it has a built in filter to clean the water. also you can change the type of cleaning massage and speed and temperature. if you are going back and forth and cannot decide which one to buy, i assure you, you will not be sorry with this one at all. and even if you are blessed to not have problematic bowels, this is still a winner in any household. The remote control is very easy and suer friendly. in no time at all i got used to al the buttons and can even use them without looking now. This is a great and very necessary invention at least for me it is, Two thumbs up and 10 stars! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! (Posted on 3/12/13)
Excellent Product with Excellent Service Review by LovingHub77
From selecting product to receiving and installing the product was nothting less than what was expected. Highly prompt service and shipping.
This is my 3rd bidet seat. I ordered different brands from else where but had problems like seat being too small and water stream was off so ended up returning them all. I actually paid lot less for BB-1000 but I believe this product is the best I have tried.
Buyers should aware there are models with "Off the target stream, especially for feminine wash"
We are completely satisfy with it!

Wife and I love it Review by Greg Pop
As a man I never thought I would be writing a review on a bidet! My wife has always wanted one; I never gave her comments much thought as could not see a second "commode" in our bathroom. Then the Bio Bidet arrived, i installed a GFCI off of the light switch for the power (not a big deal) and after and easy install and 1 1/2 years in operation, on a daily basis, this bidet is probably the single most "cherished" devise in our home! (Computer aside of course. But, then again, my computer does not dry my behind after using it!) I dislike reviews that are written a few days after the item arrives... what can they really tell you about the item being reviewed? Well, the Bio Bidet 1000, after 1 1/2 years of use, prompted me to spend a few minutes to write this. As a man, I believe, if you do not wash after a BM, you are NOT CLEAN...... or maybe just you don't have any hair down there. My point is, as far as personal hygiene goes this unit MOST appreciated by both my wife and I. (Posted on 1/28/13)

Can't say enough about it. Review by Kevin
"We purchased the Bio Bidet BB 1000 model, and we cannot say enough great things about it.
My wife really likes having this in our bathroom. I suggested it as we wanted to have a spa like atmosphere in our bathroom, and after getting a steam shower/jetted tub, this was the most luxurious thing I could think of.
The installation took me about 45 minutes, but I am Not a very handy person, and yet I was able to do it- so I am sure someone else could do it faster and easier. All of the bidet functions work wonderfully and we know the heated seat will be wonderful come winter time. Thank you Bio Bidet.
Love, peace and prosperity" (Posted on 1/28/13)
Thanks for making such a fantastic product!! Review by Brenda White
"My husband frequently travels to Asia on business. Following his first trip there, he came home with stories of a wonderful toilet seat that was very refreshing. He showed me some photos on line, and looked forward to his next trip when he could enjoy the experience.
Since I had never had the experience before, I wasn't nearly as excited about it as he was, but I decided that the kids and I would give him one for Father's Day. We selected the BB1000, bought it on line, and surprised him with it.
On that Sunday morning, he opened the wrapped carton and immediately began installing. He said that the parts and assembly instructions were so easy that it only took him a few minutes to complete the installation of his special gift.
Since I had never tried it, he let me be ""first after him."" I was completely amazed!! Now I understand what he was talking about all these years. This is absolutely an incredibly refreshing, cleansing experience that I repeat daily. And of course my husband is still thrilled with his most special Father's Day gift ever.
Both of us wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone.
Thanks for making such a fantastic product!!" (Posted on 1/28/13)

Great device Review by Heinz, CA
I've toyed with the bidet idea for years and never did any thing about it before now. I really couldn't see the idea of two fixtures in the bathroom. Thanks to Bio Bidet I have one compact unit that does just what it purports to do. It still is a shock to sit down on a WAREM seat in the middle of the night, WOW, what a pleasent shock. Everyone that has used the seat loves it and wants one. Why are Americans so shy about thier natural funtions? Great device. I'm really happy with the change in my life. Thanks." (Posted on 1/28/13)
Thanks for the great bidet Review by Rudolph
Just to let you know I have been using a bidet for several years. We recently moved to a home in Las Vegas with two bathrooms and without realizing there was no room to put in a bidet.
Very disappointed we let everyone know. My brother-in-law called and told us about Bio Bidet. We are extremely happy to now have the bidet, we so desperately needed.
Thank you so much for putting this on the market. The bidet is really easy to use and we are both in our eighties.

Bidet started malfunctioning Review by L MY
Product works well and effectively...until the settings malfunction. The manual fails to address any challenges with settings malfunctions nor an opportunity to 'reset' --upon contacting BioBidet, they provided vague instructions to 'reset' but (aside from the fact that effort was a failure) beyond that, they advise they are clueless about how to address any issues and to contact an electrician...for a computerized instrument board malfunctionin the unit? Really? Our specific issue was that (following the instuctions in the manual) we disconnected the perfectly functioning unit for a bathroom remodel. When the unit was reconnected, the warm (seat/water) setting would work once and a few minutes later, just start chiming incessantly. Unless the bidet is kept on Energy Saver, which doesn't provide warm water or seat, the bidet chimes constantly. Why not have something in the manual that identifies what these characteristics mean? It's obviously an alert of some kind - but the mfr cannot provide guidance? For that reason, I will make a purchase of another brand that can offer product support after sale. (Posted on 1/28/13)

Would recommend this to everyone! Review by Donald 36
I am highly satisfied with my Bio Bidet purchase and Bidetking customer service. Being a first time user/buyer, I had lists of questions related to the product but sales associate was very patient and helpful. I also searched and read lots of product reviews for various brands and products before I chose Bio Bidet. This is truly great product! It is a shame that products are not widely available in more local stores where people can see and touch it before purchase one. The only downside having bidet seat in my bathroom is that I can't sit on the toilet while I am doing my make up anymore but considering all other benefits product offers, I have no regret. I would recommend this wonderful product to everyone! (Posted on 1/28/13)
Swapped this for a GoBidet instead. Review by Brian R
A well made product but I just didn't care for it. I thought the stream of water was too small, too much like a jet of water. The seat does not hold enough water so that by the end of a cycle your out of warm water. I also felt like it just took up too much space on the toilet. I ended up getting a 'GoBidet' GB2003 and prefer it over this product. For what I like about it please see my review there. I am very happy with my service from BidetKing. Both products arrived quickly and were very well packaged. I would definitely order from BidetKing again. (Posted on 1/28/13)
Great product Review by Chrisanne Saxton
"I purchased this bidet not knowing what to expect since I’ve never owned one before. I liked the fact that this product is energy saving. When you want warm water, you simply raise the temperature via the temperature button on the remote and vice versa if you want cooler water.
It would be nice if it had come in a darker color since my toilet is ‘Mexican Sand’ but that isn’t a big enough problem to be a deal breaker since I assume most toilets are white.
Overall, this is a great product and I can nearly guarantee that you’ll be happy." (Posted on 1/28/13)
It will greatly improve your life Review by Michael J486
I researched bidet toilet seats for months before making this purchase. This bidet had the best and numerous reviews and was also much better priced than the others I was considering. I am so glad that I bought this bidet as a gift to myself! The BB-1000 makes an interesting conversation piece- this is definitely worth the investment if you care about your health and hygiene. Great warranty and great product. Review by Duane S
"What prompted me to start using a bidet was an article I read online (more of a blog entry). The article was from 2009 or so…pretty old…but it still intrigued me. They suggested a bidet called the BB-50 by Bio Bidet so I followed that suggestion and went to the company’s website and came to find out that the BB-50 was the most basic model they had. I looked at the more sophisticated looking seats that had their own water tank, dryer, heated seat, etc. and took a few weeks deciding if it was investment that I was willing to make. While comparison shopping, this specific model is the most reasonably priced and has one of the longest warranties (maximum warranty I saw was 3 years manufacturer). My dad purchased this for me for Christmas (yay!) from an online shop that who extends the warranty to a whopping 5 years. On their website, they only extend the warranty for the Bio Bidet BB-1000. If that isn’t a vote of confidence, I don’t know what is.
I’ve had this for less than a month but I already love it and am so glad that I stumbled across that article.
When I went to Europe, I had seen those standalone types of bidets everywhere and I can’t say those poked my interest at all. It seems inconvenient to scuttle from the toilet to the bidet. This washlet type of bidet attaches straight to my toilet so it doesn’t take up any additional space.
The design is rather attractive and an instant upgrade to the toilet.
The remote control is hidden on the side of my vanity cabinet (I stuck it on the side, out of view but still accessible).
The posterior wash: This is a general rear wash that is quite powerful and it seems to just power wash away everything undesirable.
The feminine wash: This is particularly useful during that time of the month. It is impossible to express how important this wash is going to be for me in the years to come. It angles a bit further upwards on the anatomy and the spray is much softer than the posterior wash spray.
The most important spray to me is the enema wash. I have pelvic floor dysfunction which is the root of all my problems. The enema wash has helped me tremendously with my biofeedback therapy. After a few seconds, it works. Maybe not as much as I’d like but the enema wash has done more for me in a few weeks than my own body was able to do for itself to make this condition more bearable.
This has infinitely helped me obtain a sense of normalcy that I have gone too long without." (Posted on 1/28/13)
I've been recommending this product for years Review by T SNDRS
"I don't usually write a review nor do I recommend products to others but this is one of those products that you love even more as you continue to use it. Bio Bidet has hooked us since our first use and we have recommended it to everyone we know.
We are a proud owner of BB-1000 for over 7 years and now buying our 2nd unit for our guest bath. We really should have bought our 2nd unit much earlier but we've been busy recommending the products to our loved ones. We have probably bought 10 or more for our kith and kin as well as for our neighbors. No money was made but we don't mind recommending such a life changing product to our loved ones and having them order through us since we get a return customer discount. Like many others using bidet seats, I can't imagine going back to the days without using bio bidet myself either. As a matter of the fact, I am bit disgusted about myself having only used dry paper in the past.
We are in our 60s and have used and seen lots of products but there is nothing out there that satisfied us like our Bio Bidet did." (Posted on 1/28/13)
I can't recommend anything other than a BB-1000 Review by Ken Wijay
"This will be my second unit to complement my first one that I bought in 2007. For a while now whenever we went to our condo in Florida for the winter, we’ve taken our BB1000 with us. Taken as in boxed it up and shipped it a day or two to our address in Florida before we leave Washington. Well, after 4 years we got tired of doing this. The new model I received has an updated remote that is not rounded on top but a full rectangle. The buttons are still large on the new model remote so I have no complaints.
The longevity of this product to this day amazes me. I have a family member who used another brand and it lasted for about a year and a half before shutting down on him.
The new seat is a brighter white than my older seat (which is white but it is actually an off-white) which is also fine since my toilets are all white.
The washes are very powerful and the stream of water that you get is clearly motor-driven. This is why I love my bidet so much. If the water just sprayed you with water, what is the big deal? The water should come out strong and precise enough to thoroughly clean you and that is what this product does. Take for example if you splash water onto a dirty dish it will stay dirty. But take a sink spray and power spray that dish and all the gunk will come off. Water pressure is everything.
I can have peace of mind knowing that this new unit will also last for the next several years.
I am and will always remain a loyal customer of the BB-1000." (Posted on 1/28/13)
Great value, quality, and customer service. Review by flsldy77

Does everything it's supposed to. Review by July Wijaya
Worth the price: An improvement over what I had. Have just been using a month and am pleased. If you are looking for a basic bidet that looks nice and has all basic functions and gets the job done you will be satisfied. However don't expect any high tech gadgets, sensors, or whatnot. Basically you get what you pay for and this is all I wanted. (Posted on 1/28/13)

Great price, great product Review by virginia KDL
"If you are considering buying a bidet, I recommend the BB-1000. I have been using mine for 5 years now without any problems. It is good quality with a great price tag. Nothing like a bidet to help you feel clean.
I really love this bidet. I’m from Europe but I’ve been living in America for over twenty years. I think bidets are starting to make it big in the US. I love my bidet and am trying to spread the good word to everyone I can. I’ve actually converted a few people to this enlightened way of life. This BB-1000 is really a great price and I have no complaints." (Posted on 1/28/13)
Can't use a public restroom anymore Review by DERRIN J
"I opted to buy this when I got a new comfort height toilet. A local Asian grocery store ran a sale at an incredible price and then combined with a 10% off coupon from the store, I bought two of them. They are very nice, but buyers should be well-informed before making any purchases.
Installation is basic and unless your bathroom is out of the ordinary, anyone would be able to do it for themselves.
I accidentally got the catch plate onto the bidet before attaching the catch plate to the toilet first and it took me half an hour to figure out how to get it off.
At first it’s weird but after a few days it grows on you and then maybe a week or two later if you find yourself using a public toilet, you’ll reach for the wall where the remote control would normally be out of habit. Then you’ll realize that you’re sitting on a yucky public toilet, sigh, wipe, and sigh again." (Posted on 1/28/13)
I am a believer! Review by elemei11
wow! much better than i thought: I too was a bit skeptical, but the reviews were good and so I gave it a try. I was very happily surprised...IT DOES WORK! How, I don't know for sure, all I do know is that I have not had a problem with bathroom odor or constipation since and I don't have to spend up to $15 on toilet paper every week for my family anymore. I am a believer and HIGHLY recommend anyone to try this. You will really be amazed. (Posted on 1/28/13)
Great product Review by Chip P
This seat is everything you expect. It's got 3 different washes (posterior, feminine, enema) and 3 options (regular stream, pulsating, oscillating). I replaced an existing toilet seat and had no issues, the whole process took only about 20 minutes (remember, I am NOT a plumber and have never done anything like this before). Having previously purchased a cheap model from some off the truck company, I was hesitant about trying one again. However, I noticed an immediate difference as soon as the box was opened. I was afraid that the seat would look like a grandpa’s seat in person but it’s got a rather sleek design. The workmanship on this seems to be smooth. I am aware that an appliance such as this experiences great stress from daily use but so far I have no issues with it and I am pleased with the outcome. I believe anyone looking for a good boost in their hygiene will find satisfaction in this product. (Posted on 1/28/13)
Tried many bidets before but this was the best! Review by Jane SPR777
"I have had the opportunity to test several bidet seats due to my family owning a few brands in their respective homes. I cannot go into detail about the others that I have tested since I have only used them a handful of times while visiting however I will say that the BB-1000, which I ultimately purchased for myself, has an extremely effective water spray. Cleansing aside, I was looking for something that would do more than be a hygienic plus.
With a product as compact as this that draws a maximum of 600 watts, I can say that the water pressure that the motors supply is very impressive.
On one of the `test' models, the water seemed to dip like the water stream from a drinking fountain. When turned on, it would spray water at an upwards angle but the pressure was not strong enough to keep that angle steady so by the time it reaches a human body, the water merely skims it and flows back down into the toilet bowl. As you can imagine, this was very frustrating and inconvenient since I had to position myself constantly in order to get this dipping water to touch my butt.
On another `test' model, the water pressure was too uninhibited. There was nothing regulating the amount of water or the pressure of which it came thus making it uncomfortable in a painful way. No, it was not on any enema wash it was just a standard posterior wash at low to medium settings. I felt like if I had kept the spray on one spot for two minutes straight, that spot would become bruised.
One bidet, no matter where I positioned my body or the nozzle, it would spray my back.
Needless to say, although I liked the concept of these things, I was never impressed. Nonetheless, I wanted one in my home but I decided to go another route than my parents and brothers. I did my homework and narrowed it down to two seats that I had a good feeling about. I ultimately went with the BB-1000 because of the unique 3-in-1 nozzle and the enema/turbo wash.
I am very pleased with the water spray on this product. Upon installation, I placed my hand on the seat to activate the safety sensor and covered the opening where the water would spray with my hand. I tested it on all three washes this way so that I could observe the water and found each one to be satisfactory. The water shoots at one steady angle and comes at a rather thick volume of water. The difference with this one is that it uses `bubbly' water so the stream isn't painful while it is still powerful.
All bidets can clean a person (more or less) but I wanted a bidet that performed up to my standards. If I wanted to settle with a simple squirt of water, I would have. From a technical point of view, regardless of the silly extra features that I don't need (i.e auto open and closing lid, auto flushing, etc), this might be one of the best bidets I would have been able to find. Do you buy a bidet so it will flush the toilet for you or do you buy one to get a satisfactory water stream to clean you off? I am part of the latter and I would recommend this to anyone else who thinks the way I do." (Posted on 1/28/13)
I really love my bidet Review by Shirley Pavetto
I just got my Bio Bidet BB-1000 yesterday. It took me less than one hour to put it on. The delivery was fast and the instruction was easy to read. Went Shopping in Canada for the same type of Bidet, to find out that the cost is 3 1/2 time more expensive for the same bidet.
SO I decided to buy it on line, keeping my fingers crossed for the result.
Well within 5 days my bidet was delivered to my house with no hatsle. very easy to install.
I am extremely happy wit hall the features and recommend it to everyone,
Last week my sister came to visit, and before leaving I had to place an order for her,
I received a call yesterday, She received her bidet and it is being installed today
A few of my friends and medical staff have been over to see my bidet. and are planning to buy one. specially the one that had their hands operated on, on have problem with their shoulders. This is the answer to our prayers
It is a real jewel to own.
I really don't know what more I can tell to express my complete satisfaction and the feeling of being warm and clean after using it.
The shiipping service is also excellent.
Do NOT deprive yourselfof this excellent service,

Better than the TOTO Review by Howard Hurd
Previously purchased a TOTO for over $750, but it lasted only two years. Repair was fair, as was customer service. the repaired unit also lasted only two years. After the second failure I decided to switch brands. Searched reviews over the internet and settled on the Bio-Bidet. It has been wonderful, and is better than the more expensive Toto. Easy installation, good quality, no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommended. (Posted on 1/28/13)

Don't hesitate to buy this bidet Review by Barbara Cable
This is a fantastic bidet! My sister bought one and loves hers and after visiting the gynocologist she recommended I purchase a bidet for health reasons. I immediately purchased one - I was looking for an excuse! There really should be no reason to hesitate to purchase this bidet. I don't use the air dry as much but all of the other features are totally terrific. My husband uses this almost more than I do. He loves it. We were recently on a long vacation and aside from getting into our own bed that was the other item we missed most. (Posted on 1/28/13)
one of the best investments I have made Review by tson 884D
I have decided to write a review on it now because I know there are people like me out there who are on the fence about it but actually really need something like this to be a part of their lives.
I purchased this online a few months back. Like many others wrote reviews, I was also skeptical because this is a generally unheard of product where I live and I had very little information. The information that I found online gave me a basic understanding of what to expect: water spray and heated seat. At the time, I needed a bidet on short notice so I chose the BB-1000 based on the many reviews I read about it on various sites.
Even after I received it, I still held some reservations against the product. I paid $500 and still raised an eyebrow at the thought of it. The installation I did myself since it was very straightforward and easy.
The water is tapped straight from the wall valve and does not draw water from the toilet tank while the built in bidet tank heats the water. The heated water can be adjusted to three levels (low, medium, high) and the highest is very warm yet not painfully hot (aka perfect). The warm water lasts for 30 to 40 seconds and when I inquired about this I was informed that any longer than that would not be beneficial since it would weaken my tissue. This makes sense to me. I had compared and read about some bidets with in-line heaters and although that seems like a great feature and might entice some people, it makes sense that endless warm water can do more harm than good.
My main concern was with where the water would come from or if it would affect my toilet’s flushing capabilities. Since the water used in the bidet comes straight from the water line, it doesn’t affect my toilet at all.
Like the warm water, the heated seat can also be adjusted to three levels. With the recent chilly weather, I’ve kept it on the highest and it is so nice. Although one drawback is that it has become a bad habit to doze off on that seat in the mornings and makes waking up a little more difficult than usual.
The deodorizer is unscented and eliminates some odors in the bathroom. It does start running once the seat is occupied and continues to run for a few seconds after the seat becomes unoccupied. This can be manually turned off if the slight humming noise bothers you. The cartridge contains active carbon, I read.
The lid and seat are both soft closing. It is always better to shut the lid before you flush to prevent germs and bacteria from splashing out and the soft closing lid is nice since it won’t slam shut and startle you.
The seat will not work unless it detects someone sitting on it. This is a great safety feature especially for those who have kids like I do who are prone to being curious and button mashing. And with the remote being so attractive and easily accessible to my kids, I have found that remote in my living room a few times so I’m glad that the bidet will not respond when they try to use the remote like a TV remote.
This bidet has a 3-in-1 nozzle that is exclusive to this brand – one of the reasons I chose this model over others. The one nozzle contains the posterior wash, feminine wash, and vortex enema wash and is powered by a motor that regulates movement and flow. All three of these washes can be manipulated to move back and forth or pulsate. The pressure can also be changed according to my preference. The water stream on this bidet is mixed with air bubbles to create an aerated effect which causes the water to be more powerful yet gentler than conventional water streams. The posterior wash is your basic family wash. It will clean the rear with oscillating, pulsating, or stationary. The feminine wash also does the same but it reaches further up anatomically. The enema wash is a concentrated stream of water. This seems to be unique to this bidet and although I have no need for an enema yet at my stage in life, I can imagine this becoming a great tool in the future.
The warm air dryer is just a pleasant flow of warm air that is a nice topper.
This nozzle will “self-clean” in between each function. This means that water will be drained over the nozzle before and after each use so I do not have to worry about cleaning it myself.
For a product that was bought on a whim, it has proven to be one of the best investments I have made. (Posted on 1/28/13)
The BB-1000 is the best bidet out on the market Review by Demiilpa
"I thought I was getting a good featured bidet seat at reasonable price but I was getting a lot more than that. I have been used other brand for 4 years but they troubled me when I contact them to see if problem can be fixed even at price. It was not pleasant experience dealing with company has no intension to help.
'I had very difficult time finding product with good water pressure and comfortable seats. Frist product I purchased wasn't for me at all. Expensive, small seat, small remote, weak water pressure.. even then I was fully convinced with concept of the products so I picked BB-1000 for my 2nd bathroom. I had no idea there could be such a difference among products till I tried 2 different products. It sits me more comfortable and cleans me better, much better. I really like powerful warm air dryer too. I bought it as a backup unit but I am now using it in my master bath. Bio Bidet BB-1000 certainly far better product and only product I'd recommend to my loved ones." (Posted on 1/28/13)

Very impressed!! Review by Gale W
"""I purchased my BioBidet (BB 1000) in March of 2010. This was one of the smartest purchases that I've ever made.
I own and operate a fairly large horse boarding, training and lesson facility, and I do a lot of horse back riding. During the summer months, I can get easily chafed in those ""personal"" areas due to the tight fitting riding breeches and the friction caused from being in the saddle. So, in an attempt to prevent problems, this year, I purchased the BB 1000 so I could do a cleansing and refreshment of ""those"" areas during the day without having to strip down to do a full shower (no time for that during the busy work day). It's now nearly six months later, and the hottest summer months have passed, and sure enough, I don't know how I could have survived without my BB 1000. The unit worked perfectly as advertised and helped me to stay clean and fresh through out the day.
The unit was easily installed by my husband in less than a 1/2 hour and the directions and the unit's remote were very easy to understand. Other than when I've been traveling away from home (and missing my BB 1000), the unit has been used at least twice per day without problems. The heated seat was a treat during the cold months this spring. The warm water was as well. Even in the summer, I set the water temperature up just a bit. I also really like the seat cover closer. This is a real neat feature that I didn't expect to be so handy.
In addition to fulfilling my goals for ""summer"" cleanliness, the BB 1000 has served me well for other hygiene needs. It works great for those ""cleaning up after's"" and has reduced my usage of toilet tissue. The dryer feature works great and also helps to reduce irritations.
Before I bought the BB 1000, I did do quite a bit of research and comparisons of the various bidet seat units that are on the market. The BB 1000 had the most features for the price range, without a doubt. The warrantees and other good ""testimonials"" all contributed to my decision to purchase the unit. I was also impressed with the quick delivery, as once I had made my mind up to get the unit, I wanted it right away!
So, I am a very happy customer, and user of the BioBidet product, the BB 1000. I have highly recommended this to my family and friends. Thank you for making such a great product. It's a pleasure to buy something that works and does what it says it's going to do!""" (Posted on 1/28/13)

Thinking about upgrading the others I have to the Bio Bidet Review by Robert Anderson
We have used the Bio Bidet for over a year and think it is wonderful. We also have two Brondell Swash units that we thought were great until we used the Bio Bidet. We are thinking of replacing the Brondells. Now we would like to know a comparison between the USPA 6800 and the Bio Bidet. (Posted on 1/27/13)

Is there a maximum weight capacity for use of the biobidet1000, biobidet1000 supreme or clean sense dib-1500 seat?
Posted byon Friday, November 14, 2014
The statement weight limit for all of our bidet seats is 320lbs. Some bidets, like the Bio Bidet BB-1000 and BB-2000 work better for larger users due to their solid construction and high water pressure abilities.

Thank you for shopping at BidetKing.com. You can send us a picture of your toilet to [email protected] and we'd be happy to tell you if it will work with the BB-1000.
As a general rule of thumb, as long as it's a two piece elongated toilet, you shouldn't have any fitment issues. Also, please see our buyer's guide here for more information: http://bidetking.com/bidet-toilet-seats-buyer-guide
I bought a bb-1000 about a year ago and the seat has cracked at the hinge so that the soft closure function does not work. Advise Bill Parks
