The Alpha iX Hybrid is an entry level bidet seat that’s loaded with high end features and durable build quality. It features endless warm water, an LED nightlight, a stainless steel nozzle and much more. You’d be hard pressed to find a higher quality bidet for under $300.

The iX Hybrid has a specially contoured lid with a contemporary, low-profile look that has become a hallmark of Alpha Bidet. Its blue LED nightlight provides a soft glow inside the toilet bowl for a really nice aesthetic.  The seat and lid are slow closing to prevent slams. Simply push them forward and they will softly close on their own. While the lid is sturdy enough to support about 150 pounds, it’s not a truly sittable lid. At its core, the iX Hybrid is built around an energy efficient hybrid heating system that provides endless warm water from start to finish. Unlike other bidet seats in this category, the Alpha iX also has some high end features like a stainless steel nozzle and warm air dryer with adjustable temperature.

On the right side of the seat, you’ll see the auxiliary control panel with basic wash functions as well as the water inlet which is angled for convenience. On the left, you’ll see the 4 foot electrical cord and the seat’s quick release tab underneath.  The air vent is simply a ventilation port and not a deodorizer.

The iX Hybrid has 4 wash modes: a soft rear wash, a front feminine wash, a stronger “rear+” wash with a narrower stream, and a child cycle. Water temperature and spray pressure are fully adjustable and each of the iX Hybrid’s wash functions can be modified with both oscillation and pulse. Other functions like the energy saving modes and nozzle cleaning function can also be activated.

Standard installation parts are included with the seat.

First, we see the regular rear wash in action. The nozzle position is adjustable in all wash functions and can also oscillate back and forth. The water stream can also be pulsed for a massaging effect. Next, we see the front feminine wash from a different section of the nozzle. The iX also has a “rear plus” function with a stronger, narrower spray. Lastly, we demonstrate the warm air dryer blowing from its vent.
